Love Doggie Dooze!
I love that Doggie Dooze are 100% beef liver. I am always looking for dog treats without all the unhealthy ingredients. My dogs are pretty picky eaters and they just gobble these up! When they hear me shake the jar, they come running! They are also the perfect treat to use along with the Doggie Don’t Device as a reward for good behavior. I will definitely be ordering again.

As clean as you can get
– Made in USA but doesn’t mention source- Freeze dried beef liver, no other ingredients- Stored proper, cool and dry, shelf life unopened would be decades- Both dogs loved them- No real smell when opening jarIt looks like they just ran a whole liver through one of those french fry makers. That makes most of the pieces the same size but there are odd ones. Very minimal effort to feed evenly, if it matters to you. There’s a zillion in here but I still think it’s expensive. They are, however, pretty much the purest treat you could get without raising your own cows.We did have a dog that had a lot of allergies. It was a constant struggle to find food and treats, since companies change sources and recipes so often. She’s gone now, but after 14 yrs with her, it’s still my habit to find purest possible. The fact these are freeze dried is a fantastic boon for me as a prepper. Of course I prep for my dogs as well as the humans, so these will definitely be in their preps. Anything freeze dried is also extremely light weight which is also useful. So yeah. These went on my personal permanent list subject only to price, and of course if they ever start adding in fillers and other crud.Don’t forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address – It’s an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Dogs love these
These treats have been a hit in my house. I love that this is a single ingredient treat so I don’t have to worry about any unhealthy add ins or fillers. The package shows the guaranteed analysis and shows the total calorie content, but I don’t like that it does not specify how many kcals are in each treat. Looking at the product page now, it does say that each treat is 3 calories. However, I am not sure if that is accurate because when I estimated how many calories were in the jar divided by the approximate amount of treats it says it contains I got less than 2 calories per treat. I think it should be clearly labeled on the jar for clarification. Regardless, those are both good numbers and make a good treat for my dogs. These fit nicely into my treat dispensing dog camera as well, so that is good. The biggest downside to me, is that these stink! Well, I think they stink, my dogs disagree. If you feed it to them really fast you won’t really notice, but I wouldn’t try to leave them in my hands for long or put them too close to my nose! This isn’t really anything I will count against the treats though. They don’t need to smell good to me, as long as they are safe for my dogs.

Unfortunately, not for our dogs
I ordered this jar of Doggie Dooze training dog treats in beef liver for our grandfluffies, Rocky and Riley. Rocky and Riley are both large Golden Retrievers who love treats but otherwise aren’t food motivated. These treats come in a 5 ounce jar and each jar has about 275 treats per jar. The treats are pasture raised Texas beef liver.Unfortunately, the jar came damaged and against my better judgement, I fed both Rocky and Riley each two treats. Unfortunately, both dogs got sick within an hour of feeding them the treats. It was the only thing they had been fed so we know it was the treats that made them sick. Our daughter tried giving a couple of the treats to her Poodle and she also got sick.Upon inspecting the container, we felt the treats smelled bad so we decided not to keep this product. I’ve posted the pictures of the damaged container. This container was shipped in a mailer which probably is the reason why it was damaged.Unfortunately, because all three dogs got sick, I can’t give this a positive review.

Great for dogs and cats.
Believe it or not these are good for cats as well. At least my cats. Whenever I shake this jar everyone comes running. As stated, the ingredients are beef liver, beef liver and beef liver. The block smells ok, it isnt overpowering and this is a good thing. I have to take out a few to give everyone treats. These is a similar product that is actually made for dogs and cats and decided to give this a shot and they work just as well. My pets love the things and I none of my treats ever go to waste. If you are looking for a treat for both your dogs and cats give these a shot. You will not be disappointed in these from at least my perspective and my pets reactions.
