Taste and Smell
I had high hopes for this product. I have 3 labradoodles ranging in age from 4 to 12 years old. My oldest pup is starting to feel his age and is not as quick to get up, jump, and play like he used to. I got these treats with him in mind, but the other pups would get to share too, especially since the treats were meant to support healthy skin and hair.When I first opened the treat package, I noticed that the treats had a strange smell. It wasn’t overly unpleasant, but strong enough that I wanted to wash my hands afterward. The treats were somewhat moist, yet hard. They were slightly larger than a dry dog food nugget. All 3 of my dogs waited eagerly for their first piece. They ate it dutifully and seemed happy when I offered them another piece, but not as enthusiastic. By the 3rd piece, it was obvious that this was not a treat they truly enjoyed. Later offerings were dropped on the floor and ignored to be eaten much later. I mixed the treats with their food so I could observe any health benefits. I noticed that my oldest dog seemed to have an easier time getting up after resting, but I saw no change in his or the other pups’ skin and coat.Now, my dogs are not usually finicky eaters, but if your pup is, I would not recommend this treat to them. I think it would be ideal for hearty eaters who are in need of a litte ljoint care.

My dog likes these. They don’t seem to help quite as well as the Dasuquin we normally use but they are ok.

Dogs Won’t Take
My dogs do not like these. It’s the first time they turned down a treat chew product. The treats are broken, mushy, and smelly. I wouldn’t eat them either!

My pups love these
I tried these with my two dogs, both large breeds. They loved the peanut butter and jelly flavor, which was good because some supplements can smell weird. I’ve noticed their coats looking shinier. And they seem to move more comfortably now, especially on our morning walks. The thing is, I’ve used other chews before that my dogs didn’t care for, but these are different. They’re soft enough for my older dog, too. Easy to give as a treat. Plus, the jar lasts a while with 90 chews. Honestly, I’m happy I received it. Teh results speak for themselves.

Tasty for dogs, but maybe be cautious if there are sensitive stomach issues.
Our dog has arthritis so the supplements included in this product may help. She loved the taste so it was no problem getting her to eat them. The only problem we had (and it may just be our dog’s sensitive stomach) was after the third day of using them, she became sick at night. I would hate to say this item was the cause, but the other joint supplements we have given her have never resulted to in that result. I would have liked to try them again, but I didn’t want to risk her getting ill again.
