Super soft, lightweight blanket
I got this waffle weave blanket to use to cover the comforter on my bed to protect it from the dogs. Easier to throw a small blanket in the wash frequently than to wash the big comforter. The blanket is very soft to the touch and lightweight. I like the white edging detail. I’m not sure why the waffle weave side has a tag saying “waffle” sewn practically in the middle of it or, for that matter, why the manufacturer is so proud of that tag that it’s shown in each photo in the listing. I’d prefer you didn’t feel the need to announce it in this rather permanent way so I could use the blanket with either side up. The 50×60” size is perfect to cover the top of a double bed without covering up the whole comforter. While the blanket is super soft and feels great, it’s not very warm. It adds a bit of warmth but to the extent you’d probably use in spring or fall. Given its soft feel, it’d be nice for snuggling up on the couch, too. The listing says the blanket is machine washable, and I’ll be putting that to the test often. I’ll update if I encounter any problems with washability, but at present I’m quite happy with the size, feel, and look (except for the dang tag) of this blanket.

Soft and Cozy
This is an amazing couch blanket. It is soft to the touch, a nice size for my lap, and really warm and cozy. Fall is here and I love nothing more than to curl up on my couch with my favorite tea, a warm cozy blanket, and a good book while listening to the rain outside. This blanket is simply perfect for that, and a great addition to my blanket collection. I’m very happy I bought it and use it often.

Love the blanket-hate the tag
This is a perfect, cozy throw for a sofa or loveseat. It’s very soft and is a good size for curling up to watch a movie or take nap (or both). It has a waffle texture on one side and is smooth on the other. The edges are sewn twice for security; once with a thin thread and then again with the heavier weight contrasting cotton thread that is part of the design element. I have the orange blanket. If you are considering it, let me assure you that this is a beautiful, warm earth tone color. It is closer to a soft brick color than orange. If I were offering this blanket for sale, I would change the color name to brick because that is more accurate than orange!The only thing I really don’t like about this blanket is the fact that there is a sizeable (2 3/4″ x 2 1/2″) label towards the lower right corner that says “waffle”. Why? It detracts from the blanket, in my opinion, and is totally unnecessary. There is also a laundry tag sewn into the edging but that is easily removed. You could remove the waffle tag as well, I guess, if you have a very sharp seam ripper with a really sharp point because the stitches are tiny on the label. If not for that crazy tag, I would give this blanket 5 stars.

Waffle knit only on one side.
I ordered this blanket because I needed a napping blanket. Comforters are too heavy, sheets are too thin, and when I’m lulling on the sofa, I thought I should have something I can grab in case I can’t make it to the bedroom.The blanket is nice and soft and feels good even in the summer. The waffle design is only on one side however. The other side is solid with no print or design. While I love the feel, I would have preferred something that had a cotton feel to it. However, this blanket is nice for napping and does the job.
