Decent camera for the price.
This is a decent camera set. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy. I just wanted an easy, inexpensive monitoring system.Pros: I LOVE that the camera view can be controlled by the parent unit. I have two kids in one room so I can move the camera angle to check on both without going in and disturbing them. I like the talk back feature. I like how the time and room temperature show at all times on the main screen. I leave it plugged in for the most part, but the battery lasts for at least 8 hours if I forget to plug it back in after nap but before bed. It’s easy to switch back and forth between cameras and even has a rotating view option to switch between cameras for a short time automatically. The parent device is a good size for my pocket if I’m walking around or go outside, but has a kickstand if I put it down. We have a small house, but I get good connection all though the house and a little ways into our yard or driveway.Cons: Occasionally the camera will cut out for a few seconds if an electric device in the house interferes with the frequency. It resolves quickly and doesn’t really bother me, but I’ve had more expense cameras in the past that didn’t do that. My only other complaint is about the lullaby feature. Only about half of the 8 options are actually relaxing. The others seem a little too upbeat for my toddler. You have to remember which ones are which before you turn it on accidentally and ruin their sleepy mood. The volume is great coming out of the camera, but it’s so loud coming out of the parent unit. I have to put it under the couch pillow while it plays for a couple minutes so I don’t have to hear it. We have other sound machine options so I don’t usually use this feature.The pros outweigh the cons for me, so I’m happy with the product. I don’t use the feeding timer feature, but there is one.

great camera
I love this monitor. My grandson is almost three and we still use it. No wifi needed, just plug up the camera and the monitor in separate rooms and you’ve got action, it is that easy. Camera is good quality. The night vision is clear. Every now and then it will blank out but you just turn off the monitor and turn it back on and you are back in business. You can keep it on and program it to notify you of any noise. This feature does not work well if you play music for the child to sleep. With it being noise activated, it detects the music. I would definitely purchase again.

Much better than the expensive video monitors!
I bought this “cheap” baby monitor for my third child when our much more expensive video monitor broke down (none seem to last very long). I figured he was already two, I really only needed it to hear him overnight (he rarely gets up) and see if he’s trying to climb out of his crib. I’ve had 3 other quite expensive video monitors for my children (now ages 9, 5, and 2) and I cannot believe I wasted money on any of them now that I have this one!! This is an excellent monitor: the camera movement is generous, the picture is clear whether it’s daytime/night-vision, the zoom works well, and the battery life is exceptional- far surpassing my others’ battery life! I haven’t tested the range much, though it works from my basement office, all the way up to his bedroom. It also has room temperature and microphone features. I suppose the only con is that when I talk into the microphone to my kids, my older ones have to put the device up to their ear to hear me, though on my end I can hear them loud & clear with plenty of volume adjustability. We don’t need this feature much, so perhaps that’s adjustable too, but I haven’t tried. I highly recommend this- don’t waste your money on the more expensive ones, they aren’t worth it.

I bought this set shortly after my daughter was born, after not liking the vtech camera I was gifted. I even purchased a third additional camera (can have up to 5 on one monitor). My monitor started being weird and not charging fully. I emailed customer support, they were great to deal with. I was hoping to just have a replacement monitor- that I would’ve paid for- so I could still use my three cameras. Customer service was fantastic and they are sending me a full set free of charge. Cannot recommend this company enough.I love the functions it has, like multi cameras that will automatically cycle (would be great for more than one child), two way talk, date and time, temperature. Even has lullabies. Found the camera range to be fantastic for the most part, would be able to be outside in the garden with her sleeping in her room soundly. 10/10 product and company.
