Works well
Small/Narrow and plastic but It Does Work Really Well.It is hard to get the hair off the comb because of the barbs on the back of the tynes. But it still works well for getting the under coat out, just don’t push down hard because like other shedding combs it will scratch and scrape the dog’s/kitty’s/Horse’s skin.

Results not as dramatic as the ads would suggest (surprise surprise) but the kitties love it! Maybe because their fur is fine, but it doesn’t stay in the tines of the comb very well when I’m brushing them.

Day three of using this comb – wish I had videoed earlier
This comb works well and mostly as advertised. Brian the Bruce isnāt a fan of getting combed or brushed, but likes this. (He had to run off to go bully his brother.) Please keep in mics this is day three of combing him whenever he sits by me, so itās getting out the last of the fluff. This also works great on our husky mix. I wish they had a wider one to use on the husky – but get that for cats this size is perfect.

Difficult to remove hair off comb
This comb does a great job combing my dog and gets into her undercoat well. She is a Pomeranian and her undercoat can be challenging to detangle/pull out snarles at times. Metal combs I tend to be too rough with without realizing so I stick to plastic ones so it though this one would be perfect. Unfortunately with the way the hooks are on the comb it makes it impossible to remove the fur off of the comb itself. I even tried to cut it off with scissors and still couldn’t get it off. Also the hooks when pulling at a snarle on my pup I can’t pull away from it if it’s too much pain for her so not recommend for sensitive puppies. It is an effect comb to used just difficult to work with.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend. The comb teeth tangle in long coated dogs. The comb gets stuck, and the teeth are not sturdy. They feel as if they will snap off. It may work on a smooth coated dog, but now one with any length to their coat. There are much better coat rakes available.

A+ for Australian shepherd undercoat!
I just received this brush so have only had a chance to test it out once, but it made an impressive pile of undercoat (see pic for reference)For anyone who has an aussie or other double coated breed… Itās crazy how much time is spent brushing these pups..and the tumbleweeds of hair in my house.I tried a basic furminator in the past and unfortunately caused some damage to my older aussies coat since it was cutting her coat instead of just getting rid of the undercoat.After making that mistake and throwing that brush away, the only brush Iāve used since then is a metal rake brush. It works pretty well but my dogs donāt love it. It gets a little tedious at times. My younger Aussie still puts up a fight every time, so I wanted to give this brush a try since it seemed like a more gentle option. I wonāt say she loved it, but it was way easier than attempting to use the metal rake brush on her!Thereās a bit of a learning curve, especially with removing the hair from the brush because of the small tines that are on it but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Iām excited to put this thing to use! Iāll update my review if I run into any issues

Great for coarse haired GSD. Easy on his fur and he tolerates it the best out of the grooming tools weve tried.

Breaks easily
This comb is very expensive for what it is. Although it works alright and doesnāt seem to bother my dog or cat, it broke in the third use. You may think I was using it wrong, like a detangler instead of an undercoat comb. But I brush my dog with a regular brush first and use this second. The tip of a time broke off. Super disappointing.
