Good for deshedding long haired cats
Works really well on my long haired cat. She’s not one for brushing, so she does lightly jog away while I’m brushing her, but I am still able to get a lot of hair out. It surprised me how it would come out in chunks. She does suffer from hair matting sometimes and this brush would mostly just get caught on the matting so I’d have to unhook it. It might be able to de-mat a sturdy dog, but a cat is delicate. (The vet got rid of the matting with clippers.) I think the brush is good for preventing matting though, by accelerating her shedding so the hair doesn’t get stuck. Very good brush overall.

Best grooming brush ever!
I have a retriever/husky mix, so you can imagine how furry Kitty is. Yes, my big dog came with the name Kitty. LOL I used the brush (I call it a rake) immediately upon arriving. Kitty loves to be brushed but she really enjoyed the rake. It got deep down and got the underfur. There was so much that you could have made another dog out of it. Seriously, if you have a furbaby that is furry, this is the product to buy. It works great and worth the money.

Worth trying for longer haired dogs
This rake/brush is good and works well with dogs with longer/thinker hair. Our dog is a husky and sometimes it gets matted which you can feel under the top layer of fur. This helps to get those out when you use the side with less “finger”. The two sizes of three rake work well and the only reason for a 4 star out of 5 star is because when you brush them after it has been weeks, the rake leaves like a trail of hair. My video does seem to show this, but you have to grab those after each brush or you end up with hair everywhere. Overall though Great price. Easy to brush and seems comfortable for both the dog and you as you brush them.The size fits your hand and is easy to clean up the hair.

Fantastic
This works fantastic! I really wanted a brush with the attached vacuum but didn’t want to spend that kind of money. We recently adopted a German Shepard and he sheds EVERYWHERE. I was sweeping 3+ times a day and there was still hair everywhere. I have a one year old and don’t want her getting covered in dog hair while she plays on the floor and this was suggested to me. For $10, I couldn’t beat the price and I’m glad I bought it. I swear I brushed two piles of hair off of him that I could have made another dog out of. He feels much softer and after one day I have already noticed a significant decrease in the amount of shedding. Wonderful product and would highly recommend!

A must-have for long-haired pets!
Wow! i couldn’t believe how well this thing works – my long-haired (Norwegian Forest mix) cat is a wiggle-worm and doesn’t like to be groomed, so it is a struggle, especially to get to the mats stuck underneath his belly. I saww this and decided to get one to see if it would help. Not only does it work well, but he actually likes it! At one point he rolled over on his tummy and let me groom all the mats and fur! Amazing.I was also stunned at the amount of fur that came out – considering i do brush him and have another comb that i use regularly. See the ball of fur in one of the photos. He still has his ‘mane’ though so it didn’t pull out too much. Since it is high summer here and hot, he seems more comfortable as well. I like that the tool has two sides – one for dealing with mats in his fur, and the other for pulling out the loose undercoat. I got the small size which is perfect for cats and easy to hold.I did notice that grooming him produced a lot of static and the fur clings to everything! I think that is a factor of the dry summer weather and the grooming action, not so much the tool itself. It is easy to remove the hair from the tool to clean it – the hair doesn’t stick to the tool which is nice.

Very effective and our cat loves it!!
We have a 10-year-old cat who has started getting mats lately. We tried 3 different cat brushes with very little success. We tried bathing him and actually caused more mats to form. I saw this and recognized it as similar to a brush my parents had for their cat when she was elderly and couldn’t groom herself. I bought it thinking “If this doesn’t work, we’ll have to take him to a groomer.” Let me tell you. The first time we used it, so much excess hair came out! Our cat instantly fell in love with it and started begging us to use it. About two weeks later having used it almost daily, we’ve gotten several of the worst mats out and his coat is looking better! Is it a substitute for a professional grooming? No, probably not. We may still need to get our kitty some extra help. But it worked far better than we expected, and it turned out to be something he enjoys. Highly recommended!!

Wow!! Great brush! Easy to clean, great for getting out the undercoat. Works much better than the other undercoat brushes we have. Especially for the price. Now this is my favorite brush for our Australian Shepherds.

I couldn’t believe how much came off my cat. She’s got an eating disorder and has gained quite a bit. She’s unable to clean herself properly but after a good bath and a good brushing this all came off her. It works really well and I wasn’t attacked lol that’s a bonus. If you were contemplating getting this don’t just get it! I got the combo, the brush is really great too with the rake!
