Perfect E Collar alternative
I had my 7 mo old puppy spayed and decided to see if there was a alternative to the cone because I know how uncomfortable they can be so I did a search and found that you could get a surgery recovery suit. I looked at so many different options and decided to try these ones. They were reasonably priced,, could be delivered the next day, and they looked comfortable and easiest to wash because I know my puppy and an accident was inevitable. I was not disappointed. It is super easy to put on. The velcro is super soft and has a super strong hold. My puppy fit in the sizing between medium and large (neck and chest medium and the length large) and I decided to go with the medium. It was a nice fit. The nice thing is with how strong the velcro hold can just attach a little bit and it will hold so you can adjust the length. They also have great stretch. I have had to wash them several times (as expected) and they still are like new but they do shrink a tiny bit. I did decide to get a large as well because I noticed that some of the other styles have smaller sizing so the large is between the medium and large sizing on this peticular pattern and she could benefit with a little bigger size although the medium wasn’t a bad fit. I got the orange striped in a large and it was perfect. if your dog is in between sizes or on the edge just look at a different pattern. So to sum it up about the sizing if using the pattern that has girl sizing and your dog is slightly between sizes go for the smaller one or look at another color/pattern that uses regular sizing or girth and get the larger size (which in my case perfect fit)

Worked well after surgery
I purchased this after my fur baby was spayed. It fit well and prevented her from bothering her incision. The material was soft, it was well made and seemingly comfortable as my sweet girl didn’t attempt to get out of it.

I ordered 3 sizes and kept the Medium, which was a tad short on the back, but it stretches a bit, and the Large was too long. My dog is 17 lbs. so I think the suit runs small. I like that it was easy to put on and take off. For potty, I opened the back tabs and Velcro-ed them on top so they wouldn’t hang down and get peed on. I used the suit for my dog’s spay and she didn’t need it after 5 days or so. She was very comfortable and it was much better than the cone or donut. The only con is the Velcro tabs are cheaply made so don’t expect to use this for multiple dogs. For our purpose it was perfect and since the suit is loose and doesn’t touch the wound, she healed nicely.

Great alternative to the cone of shame!
We got this for our 53 pound, 2 year old standard goldendoodle, for her spay, because if she had to wear the cone of shame for 2 weeks, she’d just stand there with her head down for 14 days, giving me the stink eye. It worked amazingly, super happy we went with it. We measured the neck, back and chest, and I had read that if the measurements fell into different size ranges on the chart, to go with the one that was recommended for the back length. Her back length was 26, I believe, so we got the 2xl, but her neck was either in the lg or xlarge. Getting the one for her back length worked out great, the neck fit fine, wasn’t too big or anything. I liked it a lot because it wasn’t form fitting to her belly, so it could breathe, but she couldn’t mess with her incision. The material was good, and able to handle the couple of times our playful other doodle gained access to her convelescing room and dive bombed her. Keeping these two apart for 2 weeks was the hardest part of the whole process 🤣 i held off on writing this until she was completely healed so I could give good info on how it worked. The straps were a little long and would have been a little loose if we had done like the instructions say, but we criss-crossed them and it fit great. The underside velcro meant to hold everything while she was undone and going to the bathroom was not a feature I could ever figure out when she was needing to go, I just undid the straps and put them over her back and attached to the butt velcro, tucking the fabric in, and that worked well. We also had the vet put it on her in recovery, which helped out a lot because when she came home she wasn’t really with it enough that we could have helped her into it. The velcro was really strong, and this washed well and even though it said line dry, I ran it on low in the dryer with no problem. The only thing I would point out is that the strong velcro panels tended to curl under and kind of bug her so she liked us to scratch her hips a lot. For the peace of mind and ease of use, I certainly don’t mind scratching my dog’s butt now and then. I would definitely buy this again.

Not for my girl but cute
Um. I have nothing bad to say really . It’s cute . Color is really peachy and it seems as if it would be comfy n such . But I had to return it because I could only pick one.If you like peachy instead of pink and like the dull not so loud girl colors and your better with all cotten blend. I’m sure you will like it.I just think these are all overpriced . My opinion.But if you got the money honey , go for it. ❣️It’s just not for meI found one that works and is super cute and I don’t have to undo the back. It fits around the legs with an opening .Now mind you the one I found does not have the pad insert. So this might be best for most after surgery.My girl didn’t need the extra inconvenience of having to drive her crazy with the sound of velcrow. 🤣She prefers to go in her no bother me one that she sqauts just fine in🥰But again… It’s still a nice little outfit . Nothing wrong with it that I could see.Did not fit my 11lb chi the way she needed it to fit 😉Her likes her open end no hastle onzie.Is this good for after surgery YESIS THIS cute YESis this comfy. YES for most dogs of all sizes I’m sure it isDid I have personal issues with it. NO … Just mine and my girls preference. She prefers no hastle and I prefer to make her happy 🤣

Fit really well even after a wash. I had had time getting him to wear the cone, so this worked as a great alternative. Definitely measure before buying, my pup here is in a 2xl.

Our 107 pound Bernese Mountain dog is scheduled for spaying in a couple of weeks so we are looking at options to keep her from scratching or biting her incision. This product looks like it will work. The size XXL fits snugly but comfortably. Time will tell how it holds up.

This suit did cover my dogs stitches but it also covers her business end. You have to undo it for your dog to pee. I also found it to be better suited for dogs with long tails. cropped tails do not keep it in place and it becomes a poo hammock. I ended up putting it on her backwards and tying up the leg straps over her back.
