It all began in 1994, with our rescue white lab, Winston, who was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Several vets recommended putting him down, but this was never an option for us.
We began researching alternative medicine while working with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian.

Worked Almost Immediately
I bought this because my puppy kept trying to bite off his leg. This stuff did the trick, and after spraying him with it he usually stopped scratching within a few minutes. The hard part was getting it on him. My dog was instantly afraid of the product, and I had to chase the furball around the house before I could keep him still long enough to use it. The spray sticks to the skin well, however, and it has a pleasant, but intense peppermint smell. Overall, I would recommend it.

I spent $1200 at the vet in a period of a month on remedies for my Great Dane’s allergies, and hot spots. I happened upon this at petco when picking up food, and thought I would try it. 5 different antibiotics and a steroid injection didn’t and yet this $10 bottle worked wonders. It’s definitely not a cure, this is my 4th bottle, but it’s clear he feels better, the redness goes down and the scabs disappear quickly. Dane’s get pretty bad ear infections, so I will rub some on my hands then massage on the outside of his ears and this helps with the itchiness until I can get his antibiotic drops. Honestly, the best product for his allergies I’ve used. Always keep it in stock.

I love this stuff. My dog chews and licks his paws constantly because of allergies. I have tried to use bitter spray products on him, but they end up getting on me as well. He still chews and licks his paws with the other sprays, but I have a bitter taste in my mouth all evening! The NaturVet GreenTree Septiderm-V spray works like a charm. It has somewhat of a minty/eucalyptus scent and it’s thick…more like a lotion. It seems to sooth his paws and he won’t lick or chew them for several hours after I put it on. I also bought the bath to use with this spray, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. The spray seems to work okay without it, but I’m sure it would work even better in conjunction with it.

Very strong scent
My cat hated every second of my attempt to apply this “sprayable lotion”. First of all, the stream is rather heavy; secondly, it gets all over, not directly where you intend; third, the scent is a bit overwhelming. That said, I did give it a 4 because it did work: after I put it on my hand then rubbed it under his hair and onto the cat’s affected skin. Fortunately, I didn’t have to put it on the 3x daily as suggested before he was healing. That would have been traumatic for the cat, and me.

Great for Neurotic Cats with Hot Spots and Anxiety
This is the THIRD spray we have tried for our very anxious cat. He has spots above his tail that he is always chewing at and pulling fur from. The other two sprays seemed to work but then he either became tolerant to them or grew irritated after the application and that would trigger him to pull more.This one takes some time to dry down (leaves the fur looking a little “hairsprayed”) but appears to do the job of decreasing the itching or moisturizing or whatever it is he needs that prevents his triggers. Definitely will be repurchasing!!

It’s full of good ingredients, but unfortunately it smells of a very strong disinfectant, which my terrier decided was not for him. He ran away whenever I approached him and if I started to spray him when he was relaxed he’d run and hide, and the last ime I tried, he had a sneezing fit too. Gave up because it was only adding to his stress, and not helping to sooth his itch/ scratch/ lick habit at all, I’m afraid! Really disappointed.
