Will feeding still continue regularly after the Wi-Fi is disconnected?
If a feeding plan is already set, the feeder will continue that plan even when the Wi-Fi is disconnected. However, the feeding log will not update in the app, so the status will be displayed as unknown.
Why does my network keep disconnecting?
Our product only supports 2.4GHz network connections. If your network is a 2.4GHz/5GHz interactive network, we suggest setting different account passwords for the two frequency bands to avoid connectivity issues caused by network hopping.
Why is my feeding schedule not repeating?
Please check if your feeding schedule has the ‘repeat’ option set. If this option is not set, the scheduled feeding will be a one-time event. When the ‘repeat’ option is set, the feeder will dispense the food at the date and time you specified.
Why is the battery life of my feeder relatively short?
Maximize battery life by keeping feeder and router within 10m without walls in between, using recommended food sizes, and setting separate passwords for 2.4GHz/5GHz networks to avoid connection issues.
What is the minimum amount of food that can be dispensed?
The minimum unit dispensed per meal is 1/24 cup (10ml), weighing approximately 5g. Up to 16/24 cups (160ml) dispensed per meal, weighing approximately 80g. The actual amount may vary depending on the size, type, and density of the food particles.

Reliable, secure, and easy to use feeder
I love this automatic feeder! I have two that I use for both of my cats. The app makes it convenient to check on the status of my cats’ food, when they were fed, the next time they will be fed, and if the feeder is empty or not. It also tells you whether it is plugged into wall power or operating off of batteries. I love that it has the option to run off of batteries rather than the cord, it looks very sleek in my kitchen.As far as keeping my cats out, it works great for me. My kitten is constantly trying to break in and get food. but many month later he still hasn’t been able to!I feel much more comfortable traveling and leaving my cats at home knowing that this feeder will operate as needed.

Outstanding Value, Outstanding Product (So Far)
I formerly had a gravity kibble feeder, which allowed my cats unlimited access to dry Purina Cat Chow. One of my two cats is obese, so I bought this feeder to control the amount of food consumed.General impressions of the product:(a) Works great with Purina Cat Chow, and probably would with nearly all kibble foods.(b) Incredible value. This product has lots of material (molded plastic), electronics, and electromechanical elements. It is amazing to be able to purchase this at retail for around $40.(c) Seems to be well thought out in every respect. Not hard to program. Essentially, the product has a minimum portion (1/24 of a cup), and you just set times and the number of 1/24-cup portions to be dispensed at each time.I have nothing negative to say about the product. But there some thoughts:(a) I’m skeptical that the batteries would last 180 days as claimed. The device has a single LED that is always illuminated, and active electronics. I have not measured the electrical current consumption, but even at 10mA (assuming the engineers have done a REALLY good job), I calculate 150 days max. I would guess that either plan on changing the batteries 3-4 times a year, or use the batteries as a power fail backup (you can have batteries and wall power connected at the same time).(b) With my 2 cats (on a diet), the food reservoir lasts nearly two weeks. I think in a typical 1- or 2-cat household, refilling it once per week would be adequate.(c) As one other reviewer pointed out, when reassembling the portion of the product containing the moving partition that dispenses food, the locking tabs will engage in 3 positions, but only 1 position is correct (the 3 tabs are not 120 degrees apart). This is a minor gotcha. It has a reassembly (after cleaning) complexity similar to a kitchen blender.(d) The company claims to have a 2-year hassle-free warranty. Assuming that the company honors the warranty, this product is an incredible value.On a humorous note, there is a delay of a fraction of a second between when the product’s motor starts (nearly silent) and when the food clanks into the stainless steel feeding bowl. I’ve found, after a month of exposure to the product, that one of my cats begins moving towards the feeder before I hear anything (she clearly hears the motor start). So, it has doubled as a cat hearing test. I’m convinced that one of my cats has outstanding hearing.

Dead on Arrival – update
Update: The replacement came from Amazon almost instantly, and has worked flawlessly for a few days.The quality issues people have noticed in the reviews still leave me skeptical, but the feeder is great for now, a lot better than the previous product I used. I didn’t experience the Wifi connectivity issues other mentioned in reviews, it’s pretty trivial: Plug it in, turn it on (switch under the device), start the app, add device. It found it immediately, connected to it, upgraded its firmware and it was working.My cat likes to attack feeders to get extra food so the way this one closes the hole by the nature of how it dispenses food is really great.I’ll leave this at 3 stars for now. My only real complaint is that initial DoA. Companies usually test hardware before shipping it so this doesn’t happen – it got shipped across the world, put me through testing it during which it didn’t even pretend to work, then shipped back to Amazon just so I can get the refund – but I’m pretty certain Amazon will then put it in a giant crate of bad items, sell that crate to resellers who will find a DoA cat feeder and throw it in the landfill. That’s a lot of world shipping just to put a lithium ion and the rest of its electronics into the dump.Past:I should’ve listened to the 1 star reviews about quality. This was dead the moment I opened it. Looked to be in brand new packaging, and Wifi was actually really easy to setup. But it immediately errored out with “Rotor Stuck” and a small, but presumably deadly, click sound. It never worked once.I reached out to the help@ email address, I’ll update if something is done to remedy this.

Arrived promptly and in good condition. So far it works well and even remembers the settings for a short time when unplugged and without batteries. My biggest complaint is that the bowl does not latch on to the feeder, it is just kind of held there by the weight of the unit. So when the cat starts to push at the unit hoping for more food, the bowl detaches. It seems like a pretty basic design flaw but maybe I’m missing something. My plan now is to tape the bowl to the feeder to keep it from coming away so easily. Otherwise it’s good.

For me the main draw for this feeder was the ability to recharge the built-in battery and not needing to have the feeder plugged into mains.The app is easy to use, pre-programmed feeding times are accurate and manual feeds are instantaneous, even when done remotely.Dispensing can be a bit loud (especially in the quiet early hours), but a great signal to our cat who’ll stop in her tracks and race to go eat.Provides great peace of mind knowing our cat is fed during the work day, and will receive dinner on time even if we’re late home. No more being woken in the early hours for food either.
