Great feline dental/training/rewarding treat!
The vet recommended this as a dental treat for our cat Stella to help keep her teeth clean and gums healthy.I brought them home thinking she probably wouldn’t care for them but I didn’t give her cheap, unhealthy store-bought treats anyway so I figured she wouldn’t have anything to compare the taste to.She LOVES these things and we use them as treats to reward and when we have to go away for the day as well.They are of course hard, giving her teeth a good workout and I have not noticed any side affects or negative health or digestive events because of them. *with the exception of the one time we gave her 4 in one day – it upset her tummy so we didn’t do that again. They recommend 3 a day, our running average with Stella currently, is 2 to 3 per day.When we were down to the last few in the first bag, I searched on Amazon for them just to see if I could get a lower price than at the vet’s office and found them to be nearly half the cost of what I’d paid at the office.They come in a zippered resealable bag which is convenient and are shipped quickly which is good because I don’t like her to run out of these.

My picky cat loves it
My cat is very picky, finding treats that he likes is hard, he doesn’t even like wet food, but he loves this! Only thing is he barely chews it so I don’t know if it’s still good for his teeth. Either way, I’m glad I bought this.

EDIT TO ADD A STAR:My cats decided they like these a lot and work really hard to chew them. I still think they are way too hard but I supplement these to their other treatsORIGINAL: These treats are very hard, harder than the Purina dental ones my cats are used to eating. One cat just swallows them whole and the other isn’t super interested in them. We will use them up but doubt I’ll repurchase.

Too tough to eat
I have a young sphinx I got these for to stay ahead of the curb on dental health. Saw some comments that these treats are tough, but with other positive comments, figured my cat may be OK since shes on the younger side.I dont know if these treats have dropped in quality lately, gone stale, or they’ve always been so rock hard, but my cat only gave two a chance before giving up–the ones she did eat, she tried to chew on for a few minutes before swallowing whole. And shes a real chewer; she chews on us, she chews on her scratching post, and she really masticates her dryfood loud enough for the whole apartment to hear.Literally not kidding when I say these are rock hard, even hit them with a hammer to test their hardness. The expiration date is for summer 2026 which is still a ways out.

Veterinarian recommended but unsuitable for sensitive stomachs
I have an older cat who is 9 years old. My previous pet passed due to oral cancer so I am trying to maximize her dental care with supplements. She is picky about touching her mouth so we needed a product that she would just eat.This brand was recommended to me by my veterinarian as a good option for her dental health.The product is tasty as my cat after one day immediately recognized the sound of the bag opening and came rushing over. The size of the treats is perfect also. Overall I find the product is clean, functional, with good appearance.This said my cat has sensitivities to grain and diet adjustments, even when following a standard recommended protocol of easing her into things. One day after giving her supplements she had diarrhea, and I attributed that to the grains in this product. So I would not recommend this for sensitive stomachs like hers.

My cat loves to brush his teeth!
Hi, a neighbor of mine is a vet and she gave me a package of these to try out. I give my cat three a day at around 5:00PM and he knows it is treat time. around 4:45PM he starts to try to let me know it is treat time. It takes him about on minute to eat one treat. So that is three minutes for three treats. At around noon is treat time, and yes he starts bothering me. I give him twelve to fourteen treats, and he eats all of them in less time than it takes him to eat the three of these treats. My vet is very happy about how his teeth are doing, so that make me happy. I just feel they are a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for so I will keep on buying these.

I had never given my cat dental treats before. There are many to choose from and I tried these. They, supposedly, have enzymes in them that work with my cat’s chewing to take off plague. They have not proven that when a lot of brands have. I gave them to my cat for a month, I didn’t see much difference. They were crunchy like most of them and, apparently, not to flavorful because my cat didn’t like them. These treats are made with no artificial ingredients, but don’t include vitamins like most of them do. The wonderful thing about them is you only give 3 treats a day compared to almost all of the other brands that suggest I give16 to 20 treats for my 11lb cat. They compare in price to all the other brands, but I will not use them again.

Very upset about the pricing. It was my mistake as I thought it was for 3 packages.I paid 50.00 for one package yesterday and today it’s for 30.00.Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Two of my cats love them, and the one I bought them for doesn’t but as she is very very picky I wasn’t surprised. I like that these dental treats don’t have chlorophyll like the Greenies, which always make my cats sick, but I can’t justify the $27 price tag for the tiny bag of treats.
