Probably a best option short of having diapers custom made to fit
UPDATE: After using for a while there is more to add to this review. The more the dog wears them and as we put them on her and remove them every time she goes out to potty, we realize the fit isn’t actually as good as thought. It does go around her waist just fine and it secures but the velcro stick on part is not long enough to as she walks around the side edge of it slips out. They give you and extra piece of velcro to sew on but not everyone will want to sew more on a premade product to make it stay on securely. There are some snaps on the lower back area above tail. They can be snapped horizontally or vertically. They are plastic but they work surprisingly well. They give kind of give a frilly pants look. It does help with the fit on top. The under part remains baggy so if she had a #2 accident it can fall out and if she lays, then the leaks can essentially be unprotected but it this case, though it’s baggy in that area it still helps but isn’t a total problem solver. Also, keep in mind the size of your dogs tail. Our lab can only JUST fit her tail inside. If the hole were a bit bigger it would be better. We tried resolving the issue of baggyness and lack of velcro length for a fully secured strap by ordering the next size down but the size difference was significant and though we tried to cut the tail hole wider it was an absolute no go. When you order it, maybe it will fit, maybe it will need adjusting. They can’t make it to fit every dog but it’s still an improvement over nothing and they have tried some creative ways to make the situation adaptable for different sized dogs. If you have time and are handy with sewing you should be good no matter what. Would buy again, if needed, and would just plan to sew that extra velcro section on from the get-go. But I threw it away not really understanding why it was in the package until a week in and I just realized they were not securing fully so one half always hangs partway open on her hip.The absorbency seems good and they do wash well.Original review: Three days ago our senior dog had her first indoor accidental number one while napping so we had the order placed within minutes! The diapers arrived two days after placing order, right on time. We had ordered the XXL in the pink, black and gray 3 pc set floral design. (It’s pretty.) She is a lab and it fits well and is true to size. Her having never worn a diaper before it is good to see that she isn’t being bothered by wearing this. So glad we got her this. What a relief! (I did use a treat just to get her to stand up so I could put that on her. She was a bit confused but that was about it.) 100000% better than having to smell and clean up indoor pee oopses! If your pup is piddlin’, you should just order it now. It’s a good product.

These are great
I find these diapers to be so helpful. This is my 4th purchase. Ive bought different colors with & without the skirts. I have 3 young pups (2 boston terriers & a shih tzu) that are all around 10 to 12 lbs and I find the mediums fit the best. Its not a perfect fit but its better than constantly cleaning up urine and spotting from when they are in heat. The diapers come with buttons that you can snap together if the bottom hangs too low and they also come with velcro around the waist. My girls havent had any leakage problems. It holds liquids very well and I wash them often and they hold up great. Im very pleased with these and will continue to buy them as needed. None of mine came with any kind of smell and as far as the thickness, I feel they are perfect. Not stiff and not thin. Every dog is different. Some will find a way to get out of the diaper like one of my girls does and some are perfectly fine with them on. For me, these come in cute designs, are soft material and are a good quality and they are worth the puchase.

Best option for dachshunds
These exceeded my expectations. They’re made great, they don’t leak and they fit my awkwardly shaped dachshund puppy wonderfully while still providing some air flow and not allowing leaks.I got them cuz she went into her first heat and the 2 options I had prepared with did not work for her. The disposable diapers from the pet store fit terribly and she was able to get them off and the suspender type did not work with her long thin body shape and thicker sized hind legs. These she was very pleased with though. No protesting moving in them and she could not slip out of them. They washed great and she even had a pee accident and they didn’t leak. They are incredibly absorbent. Really impressed. She’s 10.5lbs and wears size Small. Will be using these for her for plane as well.

These work very well! I washed in the washer but found it was more effective to just hand wash them in the bathtub with some soap. Very absorbent and keeps the pee in for my dog who’s currently going through a UTI. They fit very well and seem soft for her. I’d say for a 3 pack that’s fully reusable it’s definitely worth the money.

Very impressed! Very high quality flexible comfy fabric that is secure and stays on. Exactly as described and I love the colors. Measured my dog at 17″, bought her size large and they are perfect. I’m sure they wash great, but I’m going to try putting in a disposable (human) pad to throw away so I dont have to wash as often!

Mi perra pesa 34 kilos y tiene incontinencia. Primero probe con petparents talla grande pero le quedaron chicos y le estrangulaban la cola y las patas traseras.Estos le quedaron un poquito grandes del lomo pero lo qye hice fue descoser el velcro y ponerlo un poco más abajo y quedaron mucho mejor.Adicionalmente estoy probando con tirantes para que no le se caigan y es muy buena combinación.Ya ordené otro paquete.La talla xl le quedó chica así que los devolví y volví a comprar xxl.* los uso en combinación con toallas sanitarias desechables para pañal de perro y con toallas lavables para pañal de la misma marca y han sido un salvavidas desde que descontinuaron el jarabe propalin con la que trataba su incontinenciaEdición Julio 2024:Al final los pañales y el uso de toallas le provocaron dermatitis 🙁 en su vientre y dejamos de usarlos. Después de mucho batallar un veterinario me recomendó usar estrógenos conjugados y con eso controlamos la incontinencia. Aunque el uso de pañales representa un alivio para las personas no siempre es la mejor opción para los perros.Conservo todos los pañales por si algún día ya no queda otra opción pero dejamos de usarlos a principios de año

Great quality -ordered the XXL for my 160 lbs. Great Dane and it fit her nicely. I didn’t have issues with the hole for the tail -I’m guessing others experienced some difficulties with this because of the breed (some dogs have more fur on their tails).Fabric seems comfortable and easy to move in -legs holes are lined with elastic and so it stays fitted and in place. There is also cushioned padding built into the diaper helping with absorbency. Very happy with this product!

Mi gato tiene parálisis parcial e incontinencia, por lo que buscaba algo que ayudara a ello. Realmente me funciona más como para fijar el pañal de Pollo Rostizado y absorber lo que falte por el movimiento que realice. Están suaves y hasta ahora no he tenido problemas después de múltiples lavadas.

Tengo 2 salchichas .. una mide de cintura 14″ y la otra 17″. Compré la talla M y a ambas les quedó, tal vez puede estar justo para la grande, pero con las cintas de velcro se corrige. El diseño es muy lindo, la tela es gruesa y de buen tacto, la calidad es buena. Contras: es un poco complicado que quede completamente limpio ya que en la parte de adentro lleva un espesor (tipo esponja) el cual está cocido y no hay modo de como lavar a profundidad. Pero en general muy recomendables.
