Works nice, more of a hassle for small dog
Works nicely. Not sure I will use it all the time as it is a bit of a hassle. Added one more thing to do for my dog (short hair chihuahua). Rather than just bathing, brushing and blowing drying her.

Very easy to use
I previously bought the furminator attachment for my vacuum that’s just the head part like this one. The only problem though is it had the little tiny comb teeth that come through the bottom part and when you release it the fur comes off. Over time though those little teeth give bent and then pretty soon it doesn’t work anymore. I love this one because it has like a sturdy comb that just goes back and forth so there’s no little teeth to be damaged. I also love the longer hose that it comes with it attaches to mine perfectly so it’s way more flexible and just super easy to use it doesn’t take a whole lot to groom my dog.

An answer to all the hair!
THIS…Is the Portek attachment for select Dyson vacuums. Out of the box, this worked on my V15, however, it doesn’t ‘clip’ in so you have to make sure that you don’t yank it out. There are different ‘necks’ included to make it attach to your respective Dyson. Moving on, when convincing my dog to test this, a few things became apparent – this is a great tool for short/medium hair dogs. I mean really, this made cleaning and removing my Great Dane’s excess hair easy once I got her cornered (lol). It also worked well on my lab, but this is where it started to show its limitations. On long hair dogs, like my Great Pyrenees, it just doesn’t work well… But that’s ok! The comb just gets clogged too easy to make to really work out, but for short and medium haired dogs, it worked fantastic! Overall, the hose not clipping in was somewhat of a headache, but not something that ruins the product. Will use again.

Works with the DC07 and DC41
Works reasonably well with the DC07. Connections could be tighter. Works OK with the DC41 but is more awkward than the DC07. On the upside my German Shepherd puts up with the noise of the vacuum and will stand a and let me groom him. Good buy for the money. Removes the loose hair easily. Need to be gentle when combing because the comb is metal.

Fits well on my Dyson. My dog absolutely loves being vacuumed. No hair flying about the house, it all just gets sucked up into the vacuum.

Attachments are good but my vacuum is too noisy
This hose attaches easily to the vacuum and has a couple useful attachments.The only thing I hadn’t thought of when ordering this was that our house vacuum is pretty loud. The dogs won’t sit still even when vacuuming in another room, and the definitely won’t let me get near them with that loud vacuum. 🙁 It looks like I’ll need to splurge on the entire pet vacuum one day.For less sound-sensative dogs, or someone with a quieter vacuum, this would probably be a great value for the money.
