Helped my cat stay hydrated
When I first got this, my 7y/o cat wouldn’t pay any attention to it. I tried helping him understand it was for him. He never drank enough water from his regular bowl, which is why I tried a fountain. I kept the fountain running for about 2 months and I thought it was a lost cause. I had bought more filters in hopes that he would use it. Finally one day he decided to drink from it. I rewarded him with treats immediately. I was so proud of him. He still drank from his regular bowl for a while but now he’s exclusively a fountain drinking cat. It’s really easy to clean and use. I hope it lasts a long time. About 4 months now (I think) and so far so good.

My cat has to invade the bathroom and drink from the faucet everytime I use it. I set up the fountain and she wants nothing to do with it LOL However. Its not just quiet, its silent with good flow.Edit: After a week or so, she drinks from the reservoir but still doesn’t care much about the fountain. This is a great item.

worth the money
I saw a few comments in here about the cleaning process and honestly it wasnt that bad. The pump comes apart pretty easily and using tweezers i was able to get the propeller off and using a Q-tip to clean around all the tight corners. its really quite and i love the blue light. i only need to refill once a week but it does depend on how many animals use it. definitely worth the price. also the replacment filters are reasonably pricedand it comes with both filters i got an 8 pack.

Beautiful color, but this is smaller than I expected.. I’ve bought several water fountains for my pets off, so I was expecting it to be a fountain suitable for 3 pets. This one is suitable for one pet. If you try to to use it for more than one person eat, expect to refill it often.

Squeaks likes to play with his water leaving a mess. I tried a spout fountain but the the flow was short and in the center of the bowl. It was heavy which was good but as he grew he was able to lift it with his nose and make a mess again.Hubby and I did some research and this type of fountain seemed to be ideal. AND IT IS!It’s smaller than the 1st fountain but the way it’s designed hass reduced the amount of playing he does with it since the spout flows are higher with less effort on his part to drink. He can move it easy but the center is so deep it doesn’t splash outside which is great!Full disclosure – Squeaks is a very inquisitive one so he found a way to disassemble the top but still no mess! I put it all back together and used a small amount of tape for the sides and now no issues! He still moves it a little but no disassemble and he drinks more!IT also comes with spare filters which is nice!The light can be situated where you like to place in the bowl as it’s attached to the pump and plug as all one unit.The only thing that would make it better would be if I could unplug and recharge as needed since that enables flexibility with where it can be placed but it has to stay plugged in to work.I still give it 5 stars as its really cute, it comes in cool colors (I might get another) great price, and most importantly it solved our problem!I’ll post a video when I get a chance. Get it if you can relate!Side note: I like the sound of the fountain water trickle, its peaceful. Keep it full and you’ll have no issues.

Difficult to clean properly
My cat really liked this. She doesn’t understand the concept of water coming from a spout or a tap, so I used it without the little flower so that the water just bubbled up onto the bowl and it worked perfectly like that. She ended up using the flower spout as a toy instead. The only thing that I strongly dislike and why I stopped using this bowl is because it is incredibly difficult to clean. There are a lot of tight corners where the filter sits and the motor sits that are really hard to get in and properly clean. A sponge doesn’t really get in there right to clean the tight corners, and I had trouble finding anything around my house that would adequately clean this bowl. I personally felt like there was a lot of buildup in certain areas of the bowl that made me uncomfortable with using it given that I just couldn’t clean it properly. The plastic that it’s made of also scratches really easy which creates a concern for harboring bacteria as well as contributing to build up of minerals from the water
