Fun for your cat
My cat loves this toy. She is very smart, and it can easily entertain her for a while. The cat toy involves putting treats in different areas and you cat has to move things around and fish the food out. Some cats are not very motivated to do this, while others love it. I find that she can give up in certain situations and you have to help her out. It is easy to use, cleaning can be easy enough, you just have to let it dry thoroughly. If your cat is food driven, I would suggest this. If they are not super interested in treats or food, then probably not for you.

My cat feels very proud of herself
This is a fantastic device. I got it for my nine year old Siberian, who is actually a genius among cats. She is the smartest cat I’ve ever met. Yet, she has never been exposed to anything like this, so I wondered if she would get it. Well, it wasn’t immediate, but she does, and she loves it.This device has multiple elements a cat must figure out to get all the treats. There are the balls that need to be knocked off to get to two reservoirs (easy). Then there are things the cat needs to slide to find treats underneath (pretty hard). Finally, there are drawers the cat needs to get to come out by either pulling a string or pushing a lever (hard and super hard). I use this with Greenies treats, and I put one treat in each little cubbyhole. On the first try, Charlotte was able to do the easy part. On the next session, she got out some of the medium ones–but some of those are harder than others because you have to slide things back and forth. I think she would have done a better job, but she had just eaten on both of these occasions and her motivation was lacking. I helped her with the rest of the drawers and showed her how things worked, and the next time I gave it to her first thing in the morning before breakfast. And she got every treat all by herself! The best part is that afterwards, even when breakfast was over, she went back to this treat dispenser in the other room and just sat down next to it and purred, very satisfied with herself. It turns out a sense of accomplishment is important for everyone, including cats. She was in a great mood for the rest of the day, and I know it is because she likes the mental activity this provides. It might give her some of the same satisfaction as hunting. I feel good about giving her that stimulation, since as an indoor cat I don’t feel like she gets enough of it all the time. I want her world to be full and interesting and consist of more than just lying down all the time. It is my responsibility to provide that for her. So, I’ll be buying more of these when she gets bored with this one. I think the company offers others of varying difficulty levels.I highly recommend this.

Not for big cats
It’s fun to sit down with my cats and help them figure this out, but the design isn’t great. The little cups are hard for my bigger cat to get the treats out of, because his paws are too big and his big wide head won’t allow him to get his mouth close enough to the lower level to lick up the treat. I have to take it out and give it to him. My smaller (more average sized) cat can get the treats out, but he usually flicks them out with his paw and sometimes they get jammed under the edges along the “runners” where the little blocks slide. The slider that moves out by pushing the lever is very stiff and even I have trouble getting it to shoot all the way out so that both cups are revealed. All that aside, though, it’s a cute toy and my cats are slowly learning how to get at the treats. They just need some help to make it non-frustrating. It’s sturdy and so far neither cat has figured out that they can overturn it to shake the treats out. It’s also easy to clean.

Mostly good. Price is right
I’d have given this 5 stars except for two details. One, although the picture shows a nice blue feeder, what came is a rather ugly salmon and plum colored top. Some customer reviews show blue as well. There is no indication that “colors may vary” and quite frankly, I’m not sure I would have bothered had I known I was getting these colors. Second, the slider puzzle is a bit sticky. And since that is the hardest challenge for the cats to begin with, having that added challenge of having to really push it hard to get it past the one spot really takes that challenge away completely for the most part. If you put it past the part where it gets stuck, the food is pretty much accessible to start. But the other puzzles are very nice. Nothing too difficult. Not too frustrating, like I’ve seen with some of the ones with “fins” that are too close together for the cats to reach in and push the treats out. It seems sturdy enough to not move around when the cats are playing. (Partly because it is not one where the cats will be really swatting like those fin feeders.) So, if you like the colors, and get lucky that not parts get stuck, it is a pretty nice activity feeder at a price much lower than most.

Spacious and great quality for the price
I bought this to transport my two cats comfortably. It is great quality and was easy to put together. The bigger enclosure is spacious for both cats and the smaller one allows a comfortable space for them to use the bathroom. This will work perfectly for them while we are in the middle of moving. This will provide a safe place to stay while doors are open/closing and things are in motion.

Well made, easy for my cat to master.
Well made, and my cat likes. He never figured out the push handle, but he mastered everything else and finishes now in less than 5 minutes. I wish the design could be used with wet food, so I could use it as a slow feeder.

Cat approved
My cat actually enjoys working for her treats a little bit. Interactive activity with a reward!

good puzzle
toy is great with the exception of treats getting stuck in the slide tracks, I would suggest larger treats (bigger than temptations) to ensure ease of use for the kitty

Well made and my kitten was immediately interested in the puzzle as well as the package it came in. Very easy for her to move the slots. The pull out parts are a different level for her and I think she’ll work it out in time. Looks easy to clean. The only thing is some of the treats have wedged themselves into the gaps at the side were the sliding parts move.

Awesome toy! I introduced this to my 10-year-old cat. He had already learned how to use the rolling ball cat treat toy a couple years earlier, and more recently a Cat Senses maze for food. I stumbled onto interactive cat toys in an Amazon search and was surprised to see so many cool things. So I picked this up, wanting to keep my cat’s mind stimulated as he moved into his more senior years. At first, my cat wasn’t too impressed. He kept going back to his other toys for me to add treats to instead. But in time, he totally warmed up to this one – it’s his favorite! And now every morning, he sits beside it waiting for me to fill it up. It’s part of our daily routine now. He goes right for the ball-shaped ones first, digging them out so he can free up the pieces. Sometimes he’ll miss a few, but if I leave it out, he’ll come back later and check it all over and find any he left behind. This interactive cat puzzle is very durable. The balls can roll away, so I pick them up shortly after he’s pulled them off. The one thing that can go wrong is that sometimes treats get caught in the space where the parts slide. Going with a larger treat has reduced that a lot. I now stick to using Feline Greenies Fusion Flavor treats, as they are large enough to seldom get stuck, and yet still a good size to fit into the holes.I’ll mention (just in case someone else has this issue) is that when I first opened this from the box, the bottom two blue tiles didn’t slide easily. It was hard for me to move them, that it would have been nearly impossible for my cat. I think the only thing wrong was that it had been screwed too tight. I turned it over and loosed the screws slightly and the problem was completely solved. That was about 6 months ago and everything has been great since. It’s easy to wash and dry as well. All in all, this is my cat’s #1 favorite toy, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who has a cat that is motivated by food or treats. Even at 10-years-old, you can still teach a cat a new trick 😉

Overall a great puzzle board but it would be even better if the two ball shaped caps would have a thin rope between the top of the cap and the board. My cats plays with the removed ball caps and they get lost.
