Easy to clean, affordable, cats love it
I have 6 cats and have purchased 4 of these fountains within the last year. For the price, they are unbeatable. It’s super easy to clean, and really like the plastic basin for cleaning, but glad there is a stainless steel drink tray. Each Sunday I take the motor apart and clean it. If I do a super deep clean, it’s maybe 10 minutes per fountain.Operation is nearly silent. If it starts making a trickling water sound, it’s probably that there is cat hair or gunk on the black / blue pre filter. I pop that out, clean it, pop it back in, and good to go!I swap out the pumps with new ones at the 6 month mark. They haven’t died by that point, but I wonder how good I can clean the motor each week. $10 to replace it, and gives me peace of mind.No crazy nooks or crannies in this fountain like some others I’ve had in the past. Each part comes apart easily for cleaning.Definitely give this a try, it’s one of the best things I’ve done for our cats!

Requires Upkeep but Worth it!
It’s cute, works well, and my kitten took to it quickly, but 3 things to keep in mind:1. You have to clean it every other week or so. It definitely started getting grimy after 2 weeks. Remove and clean (under) the sponge and little motor every time.2. The filter and sponge needs replacing (every 3-4 weeks) and I wish it gave you more than 1 of each to start off with. There are packs of 8/16 on Amazon for $9-$19 which isn’t too bad but it’s still an extra cost and step to keep in mind.3. Don’t forget to check the water level! It’s pretty quiet but all of sudden the sound of trickling water got louder and it started making a noise. I opened it up and found the water level very low and the motor almost running dry. My cat must’ve been drinking more than usual and you can’t rly see the water level without bending down to look.Basically this is not a set it and forget it water fountain. That said, it beats an old fashioned water bowl that you have to clean and refill every single day, it’s adorable, and it definitely got my cat drinking more water!

Doesn’t make a sound, and has a pleasant internal light, cats like it
I’ve had cats for 35 years, but never bought a fountain until now. I read a LOT of reviews on a LOT of different ones, and like a lot of people I know, I tend to go straight to bad reviews. It seemed like all the available fountains had complaints of very premature pump motor death. I came to the conclusion that at some point, I just had to take and plunge and try one.Eventually, I picked this one because the capacity seemed about right (not small enough to have to fill constantly, but also not big enough for the water to get too contaminated), and it had a water level sight window and internal light. I’ve only had mine for a week at this point, but so far so good. I had concerns about my two cats potentially splashing the water out on the (tile) floor, but so far that hasn’t been an issue.The main reason I bought a fountain was hoping to increase my cat’s water intake. I’d read that some cats won’t go near a fountain, but my cats both took to it immediately. They do seem to be drinking more frequently and their litter box would seem to confirm this. While I don’t care for having to clean their litter boxes more often, I’m more than happy to do it if they are consuming more water, simply for the health benefit.This unit is completely silent, and when I say silent, I mean it literally has NO sound at all. No pump noise, no water noise, no nothing. If I couldn’t clearly see the water flowing, I’d think it wasn’t working at all. The blue internal light and water level viewing window are both very desirable features. I used to keep a lamp with a 15 watt light bulb on at all times in their bathroom, but the light in this unit provides ample light.So far I’m pleased with the unit. It was easy to assemble, and seems easy enough to clean. I would be a little apprehensive about putting a fountain like this on anything but concrete or tile, as the cats do like to wet their paws with the water a sit at it and bathe themselves. However, the water that makes it to my tile bathroom floor is minimal. I’m just glad they haven’t (yet) taken to splashing water out of it for fun.As I mentioned, my biggest worry with any of the fountains like this one is the pump motor dying quickly. I’ll update this review as time goes on. So far I’m very satisfied, and just as importantly, my cats are satisfied, and we all recommend this unit.Update 10-25-19 Fountain is still working well. It seems at this point my fears of premature pump failure were unfounded. I’ve cleaned the motor as instructed about every 3rd to 4th fill up, which is very simple and quick to do. The cats still seem to drink considerably more water from it than they ever did from their bowls. So far it’s been a great product that is easy to maintain and thus far has been reliable.

Smaller but still worth the money.
I really like it but it’s smaller than I thought. Easy to put together just make sure you rinse everything in warm soapy water first because it was dirty when I took it out the box. Filter in box doesn’t really filter much so buy more because it’s a weekly change. Quiet when it’s filled but soon as water level gets low you can hear it. Might be a good thing.

Good little fountain!
I like this fountain. I had been searching for a stainless steel top, kind of fountain. So my kitty doesn’t get acne. She used it right away with no problems. She gets in her water intake for the day and stays hydrated. The blue light is nice and kinda makes a cool nightlight in the evening. Easy for her to find in the dark if she gets thirsty overnight. I find the replacement foam filters and carbon filters very easily on Amazon. Which played a big part in my decision for this. I wanted to buy a product without worrying about the difficulty of finding replacement filters. I would recommend!

I didn’t expect such a difference, but ever since I got this fountain, my cat drinks a lot more water. It’s super quiet, easy to clean, and looks cute too. Totally worth it if your cat ignores their water bowl like mine did before.

Worth Your Money
My cats love this! It’s so easy to clean, the water level is always visible, and the fountain works perfectly—my cats refuse to use any other bowl. It’s extremely easy to take apart and assemble. Overall, it’s perfect; my cats love it, and I love it too. Highly recommend—I’ve been using it for about a year and haven’t needed a replacement, so it’s definitely worth the cost.

No anúncio dizia que viria com acessórios para limpeza, mas não veio.Fora isso, fácil de montar e higienizar.Se pretende usar como alternativa para aves pet tomarem banho (meu caso), não é muito favorável ou das melhores formas… A saída de água é baixa, dificultando um pouco para a ave. Mas como bebedouro, que é o objetivo mesmo, funciona perfeitamente. Recomendo comprar junto os filtros.
