Nice food scoop
If you’ve ever tried to eyeball your pet’s food and ended up with a very judgmental stare from your dog or cat, this scoop is your redemption arc. I got the blue one, and it’s honestly fancier than any kitchen utensil I own. The long handle makes me feel like I’m ladling out gourmet cuisine instead of kibble, and the measuring lines mean my “cup” isn’t actually “somewhere between half and a mountain” anymore. It was easy to put together and super easy to use (it’s a scoop, how hard could it be?). It’s a fun color, works well for my dogs food, and so far is pretty durable (although not sure how the printing will hold up over time).It’s sturdy, lightweight, and somehow manages to look like it belongs in a pet spa commercial. I use it for both my dog and rabbit — they now think mealtime is a five-star event. Bonus: it’s super easy to clean, which is great because I may or may not have dropped it in the water bowl twice.Five stars for making me feel like a Michelin-starred chef for my pets. If only my own meals came with this level of precision and enthusiasm. Great value for the money in my opinion.

I recently picked up this 1-cup food scooper, and it’s turned out to be one of those small additions that really make daily routines easier. If you feed pets, cook in bulk, or just want consistency, this might be right up your alley.What I likeJust the right capacity. One cup is enough to measure a full serving without having to fill it twice (or eyeball). It’s perfect for portion control.Comfortable handle. The handle fits well in hand and gives a secure grip. Even when scooping from a large bag/bin, it doesn’t slip or feel flimsy.Sturdy build. The material feels durable — not thin, flimsy plastic that bends out of shape. It holds up well, even against larger, heavier dry foods like large-kibble dog food.Easy to clean. A quick rinse or pop into the dishwasher cleans it nicely. No lingering food bits in awkward crevices.Accurate enough for everyday use. It’s close enough that you can reliably use it for feeding or basic recipes without constantly double-checking.What’s good but could be slightly betterSometimes with very fine or powdery food, a little shakes helps level it off so it truly equals one cup — but that’s common with many scoops.If your food storage bin is very deep or the packaging is unwieldy, scooping all the way down takes a bit of maneuvering. A Wonderful, Easy-to-Use Way to Measure or Just Scoop Pet Food, Dry or Wet!
This pet-food scoop is the tool I always needed and now am thrilled to have! With multiple rescued pets, we buy pet food in large bags and transfer some to plastic storage containers. While we use a plastic pitcher to scoop and distribute the cat food, our rescued English bulldog needs a specific amount of food for each meal to help her stay healthy. Until we found this awesome item, we had to scoop some of her dog food and then measure the prescribed amount. It wasn’t that hard, of course, but sometimes we scooped out what “looked right” instead of measuring the food, and the result was inconsistent amounts of food for her and weight gains that weren’t good for her with her English bulldog body with a typically bad back. This scoop with the measuring marks makes it so easy to give our sweet bulldog the right amount of food for her well-being. It’s made it easier to measure canned food as well as the dry, and it’s dishwasher safe! For dry food, we just rinse it and let it air dry most days, and put it in the top of the dishwasher every few days. With canned food, we clean it in the dishwasher each time. We use it for the rescued cats with special food needs, and it makes that process just as fast, easy, and consistent as for their bulldog friend. It’s a sturdy, well-designed tool that has made our pet care more efficient and precise, and that makes us feel good! Its only minus for me is that it makes me think of ice cream every time I see it! 🙂

Accurate food scoop, best for dogs
It does the job! It has a large capacity, so I think this scoop is better suited for dog portions than for cats. The measurement lines are clear and accurate, though there seems to have been a typo on “1 Cups” haha.I also loved the little plastic knife attached in the handle for wet food! My only complaint is the large handle is heavier than the cup, and the cup does not have a flat base, so this does not sit upright when placed on a table. But it doesn’t affect the overall functionality. It’s a cute color, washable, and looks like it will last a long time!
