Definitely better than plastic!
I have a female Maine Coon kitty. She’s not giant but she’s definitely bigger than the average house cat. She was recently diagnosed with a congenital spine deformity and her mobility has been affected. This litter box is the perfect size. It allows her plenty of space for maneuvering yet it doesn’t take up too much space. The size and the higher sides help keep the urine in the litter box. She was peeing over the edge of her old one. The size also accommodates 35 pound bucket of litter. The step stool that is included makes it easier for her to get in and out of the box. The stainless steel definitely helps with odor. I was skeptical of this but I don’t smell anything and I have a very keen sense of smell. My previous litter box was covered and the smell of this open one is much less. I also like the scoop provided. As far as urine clumps sticking to the bottom. It was very minimal and, even then, it was only when my litter level got very low, to a point where it’s impossible not to have some level of stickiness. The scooping was much cleaner, the clumps coming up much easier. The actual washing of the stainless steel box is much easier and more manageable. Overall, it makes the litter change process much easier. This litter box is worth every penny. The stainless steel seems to be decent quality though I’m no expert. I was hesitant to change from plastic since that’s all my kitty knows but she didn’t hesitate to use this new material. Highly recommend.

Really nice!
This is a really nice litter box and I buy a new one every few years. It’s very large, easy to clean because of the stainless steel design I like the little step that catches litter the sides come up really high so I never have urine getting on the bathroom wall and the holder that comes on the side to hold the litter scoop. I have three cats that use this one litter box and when I first put it up I had no problem with them using it.

Better than an automatic box in so many ways
I’d give it six stars if I could! I bought this box and an automatic box for our two cats, and honestly, this one outshines the automatic box in so many ways. I have boy cats, so the high sides are a must have; I never have a problem with urine going outside of the box. It’s roomy, easy to clean, and the stainless doesn’t hold on to the smell the way a plastic litter box would. The step reduces litter tracking, and the scoop holder is a nice addition, although I can’t use it because the holder only goes on one side and that’s the side against the wall where I have the litter box. So, that would be my only “complaint” is that I wish the scoop holder could be placed on either side of the box. I never thought a standard litter box would out perform an automatic litter box, but this one does by far! Well worth the extra money.

Fat cat fit and approved !
It’s a well built somewhat aestheticly pleasing litter box. Very solid no leaks. I like the metal box because it doesn’t smell as bad and it is easier to clean. It was easy to put together. It comes with a little step that also is a litter catcher, it works pretty well. I gave it 4 starts because it doesn’t remove waste as easy as advertised. It’easier, but I still have to scrape urine litter off the bottom. The sides are high enough to keep most of the litter in. I have an old, big, 17lb girl and she can easily fit and move around. She approves. She doesn’t like hooded boxes and was having accidents in the house. Now she enjoys her litter box again.

My calico is still too big but my smaller cat can do her business with no problems gonna have to get my girl a new xxxl litter box 😂 but its a good sturdy box plenty of space for smaller catsLarger cats may need an even larger one to comfortably do their thing

The main thing is my cats like to use this box! Also, it’s easy to clean. The top edge comes off so you can really clean it well. The stainless steel is easy to keep clean.

Finally the right size for the cats we took over from my mother in law especially the 17 lbs chubby cat.Thank you.The litter still escapes as the come out but it’s much lesser .It’s definitely easier to clean and no lingering smell like plastic do

Well worth the money! I have an elderly cat who quit using the covered litter box.I purchased this one and we have not had a problem since. The stainless steel tray is a little lighter than I expected but nevertheless is fine. Easy to scoop. Cleaning and sanitizing is so much easier.

This is a larger little box designed with high walls to prevent litter from being kicked out of the litter box while your cat is cleaning up and trying to bury. It’s a very large sized box which is great because it means you can stall out a bit before you need to add more litter in when cleaning. Due to it being stainless steel, it’s easier to clean as well.Overall, it’s high quality and well constructed – a great addition for any cat owner. I’d strongly recommend this.
