Leak proof so far
Been using it about a week, so far so good. I haven’t noticed any pee leaks and I’ve seen my cats pee on the wall of the box. I did however notice litter under the box from them scratching I guess. The lip on the edge must keep the pee from going out the same gap. Will update if I notice any liquid leaks.

Easy to assemble should be very easy to maintain as well
Well I do like this litter box however my cats don’t seem to like it as much as their other litter box. I believe for my cats at least they enjoy having an opening on the top that they can jump out of easily. This is a very enclosed box so it might be a little more confining than what they are used to. I recently took the very top off to see if that helps encourage them to use it. I’m sure it will retain plenty of litter and definitely stave off the smell. The top of the litter box actually has two compartments to put in scent absorbers. This box comes with two one for each compartment. The box was very easy to put together unlike others. Everything snapped into place easily and was ready to go within minutes. As far as maintenance with the sliding litter drawer it should be very easy to clean. That is if my cat’s ever decide to stop using the other litter box and use this one instead. I’m going to remove the other litter box and see if they’ll use this one in its place and then once they’re used to it put the other one back as well. Wish us luck. I took a picture of it with the top removed let’s see if that works.
