Good for small dogs, few ingredients, nice bag to keep treats fresh
This is a review for Puddonio Dog Treats, Chicken Wrapped Cod Sticks, Rawhide Free Dog Training Treats, Healthy Soft Dog TreatsThe bag arrived and it didn’t disappoint, all the ingredients listed on the back looked great; Chicken breast, Cod Sticks, Corn Starch, Glycerin, Sorbitol and Potassium Sorbate (preservative). It was surprising to see so few ingredients and things you can not only pronounce but recognize too! These treats are also made with no added sugar and are low in fat and high in fiber. This bag is 8.82oz, one of those heavy duty, foil style bags that seem to keep the treats fresh for longer. The treats are made in China, appropriate for all stages and are listed as ‘treats for small dogs’.I hadn’t been confident when I ordered them that my dog would like them. But they looked good and had simple ingredients so I want to try them. She isn’t a huge fish fan, but I don’t think she even realized these were fish. Seems like a good way to sneak some extra omega 3s into their diet. My dog is a larger breed but she’s really good about not wolfing down treats. She basically snaps off one end then chews the rest in one bite. The manufacturer recommends 4-5 treats for dogs over 50 pounds and that was a good amount for my girl. I’ve been giving her 4 treats at once and she eats them in about 3 minutes! So for larger dogs these aren’t a “chew” but a nice little snack. For small breeds these should last a little longer. The treats aren’t rawhide so they won’t last a long time, but they’re a much healthier and safer alternative and should still keep your little pup busy for a bit.I’ve given my dog about 12 treats throughout this week and she’s had zero issues with her stomach. She can be sensitive to new treats but hasn’t had any gas or problems when going potty.Overall I’m really happy with the quality of the treats and how much my dog liked them. I think they’re a good value and I would definitely recommend them.Last, I want to say that I really appreciate how well the product page is set up. The treat’s ingredients, nutritional value, their size and feeding recommendations are all clearly shown in the main photos, graphics and product details. Most the time manufacturers only seem to highlight a few high quality ingredients on their page, then you have to hunt around in the fine print to find the 20 other ingredients used. Or you get the bag of treats only to find they’re teeny tiny when they were made to look like substantial chews in the photos. I found it so refreshing to have all the information up front before you order so you know exactly what you’re getting!

Good size treats for small and big dogs. She likes to chew on it like she’s on a mission. The treat smell good and fresh.

Healthy! My bully breed loves them
My dog LOVES these little chews which have been great to keep her busy for a little while when I need to get things done. I do have a larger bully breed, so they don’t keep her busy for too long, but she absolutely loves them. I love that these are rawhide- free and easy for my dog to chew. They don’t upset her stomach unless I give her too many in one day. Overall we have loved these little, healthier chews as an addition to our routine!

Would not buy again
My dog likes them but I would not buy again, they do not seem good quality and it seems like not healthy ingredients. I don’t feel good about giving these to her.

a rare affordable treat
I’ve developed three criteria for dog treats: 1) do the dogs like it? 2) is the price fair? 3) do the treats keep the dogs occupied long enough to be worth the cost? This is one of the rare cases where all three end up being a solid yes.The dogs love these, the price per unit is a pleasantly affordable 56¢ a unit (about 28 sticks to a bag), and the dogs enjoy them for about 45-60 seconds. Plus there’s the novelty of cod sticks, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, but it seems to be a good rawhide replacement; it’s tough enough to occupy them longer than most jerky, but not so long you’re still hearing chewing late into the wee hours. Great treats
All of my dogs love these chicken wrapped cod sticks. They have limited ingredients and seem pretty healthy. They don’t last long, but my dogs really enjoy them.
