It works!
I find this to be quite effective. I have an open plan at home and hate cooking smells to spill all over. While I can’t help that from happening, this filter clears it out pretty fast. And certainly by morning there’s no left over popcorn, fish etc smells in the house. I’ve also used it in our closet to freshen up. I have a larger ozone cleaner and I highly recommend it, but people and pets are not to be inside when its running. So I start these little guys (I bought a 2nd) in the kitchen as soon as I start cooking. They work better than my over-the-range hood fan which is so loud its stressful. You only hear these units (a low hum) when its entirely quiet in the area. If they ever wear out, I’ll be replacing them. 5 stars ++

Game-Changer for Home Freshness!
I was honestly surprised by how effective this little air purifier is! It plugs right into the wall and takes up almost no space, but it makes a huge difference. Within a day, I noticed the air in my kitchen and bathroom smelled fresher and cleaner Highly recommend for anyone looking for a compact, hassle-free way to keep their home smelling fresh and clean!

I really did like these plug in filters; the ozone feature was nice and you can definitely smell it when it was on. In smaller, closed rooms the difference was really noticeable and in larger rooms like bedrooms or living areas, not so much unless you were close to them. Overall I really liked them and they did what I expected them to do, HOWEVER, after a recent thunderstorm when we lost power two of the units (I had a total of 6) started acting funky and would power off after a minute or two. I turned them off, unplugged them, plugged them back in, powered them on, and one of the units would cycle through the options and die. The other unit would stay on for less than a minute and die, so I imagine the sudden power surge affected them to where they’re useless now.UPDATE 8/10like I mentioned above, I purchased 6 of these, sets of 2 at different times because I thought they were working. Today only 2 of them are still working! We’re in an area that gets tornado warnings and mild to severe thunderstorms so power outages are not uncommon. I’m assuming they stopped working after we experienced power outages, but no other product in our house that was left plugged in (several room air purifiers, electronics, devices, etc.) were affected. So I don’t know what the issue is, but out of the six we placed in various locations throughout the house, only 2 work and I just unplugged them today. I’m spending a little more $$ and going back to the Germ Guardian plug in purifiers. I know they work and they don’t get fried if there’s a power outage

The first one was a great product and I still use it. Liked it so much that I bought a second one, but it was not in either of the boxes delivered to my front door.

Work well but have annoying high pitched whine.
I’m not sure if I’ve reviewed this item before or not. I have recommended these to multiple people and have given them as gifts because up until the last two orders I would have given them 5 stars. The last two orders all the purifiers have a very high pitched whine that is very annoying. I love how they work, I own several and have them all over put I think I might try another brand now because of the annoying noise. I hope the people I recommended them to didn’t get ones that do this.

for some reason, some people i know have plants in their closets that smell funny, and for some reason, these people reeeally love their plants, but don’t want their landlord, guests, or neighbors to smell them… these plug-ins keep the odor levels down significantly in that scenario. the ionizer makes a noticeable walk-in difference, virtually eliminating any lingering smells, even when the odor source is still present. great for entryways, shared spaces, smoke rooms, bathrooms, front rooms, kitchens, cat litter areas, spare bedrooms and “fully lit” closets. ionizer can be left on indefinitely. ozone mode is timed for safety, but can be momentary or continuously cycled, and you can smell it working. one unit ionizing is probably good enough for a small enclosed room. setting up multiples will tackle you biggest problems. it has a tiny internal fan for dispersion. i own a couple, will get more for the rest of the house. a good solution to an age-old problem. it will take a noticeably dank, smelly room, and make it smell fresh and clean in minutes. also my allergies have been almost non existent lately, and they are usually really bad. i’ve had the ionizer running in my room and i haven’t had any nasal allergy symptoms. i’ve used other ionizer devices, like light-bulbs, but this plug-in is great and can stay on all day. the price seems high, but it’s worth it. it really works, seems well made.

No way to contact company if unit fails under warrenty…
I ordered several of these after trying one to test out (4 or 5). One has quit working after 7 months. I went thru the check procedure but nothing worked. It’s still dead. I tried finding a way to contact manufacture from Amazon but was not successful so I have no way to contact them for replacement. Not a good way to run business I would think. I’ll order another one but left with a sour taste in my mouth so far.
