Thinner Than Expected But Dogs Pleased
I have mixed feelings about this blanket. One the one hand, my two dogs took to it immediately. I laid it down on the floor and my younger dog crashed out on it for almost two hours. Then my older dog got out of his dog bed and she darted to that instead (I’ve got to order her a bed so that they will stop fighting over his cushy orthopedic bed). Once my senior came back from getting a drink, he saw the blanket and immediately nested. The next day, my younger dog took his bed again, but he seemed perfectly content on his new little blanket. I give 5 stars for the dogs being happy enough.But, on my other hand, I’m not satisfied over the thickness of the blanket. From the pictures, I thought there would be an inner layer. The blanket looks a lot thicker in the pictures. Unfortunately, the blanket is just constructed with the hairy tops and the slightly-plush bottom. It’s very thin. I prefer to have that inner layer for extra comfort. However, the material seems to hold heat in extremely well and I imagine my dogs will be happy this winter. I hope it holds up well with repeated washing. We will see.I give 4.8 stars because my dogs seem happy. I will buy another because my dogs are very much like children and what one gets, the other must also have. It’s always so hard to rate a product when it doesn’t 100% fit my expectations, but isn’t a problem for the critter who uses it. If only dogs could type and write their own reviews!

Wowchine Dog Blanket
This Wowchine Dog Blanket is enjoyable to use for our small breed dog. It looks mostly like the picture, but possibly not as good of a quality. That brings the volume down a bit. I do feel like it works well with dribbles of water or possibly even accidents, even though we have an experience that yet. I like how it is double-sided – one side is more curly and fluffy in the other side is a longer shag. Our dog likes to chew on it some, but it seems durable enough. I think it’s just fine, I would only ask for it to be a smidge thicker. If it truly is wonderfully potty accident proof, I will return, I do hope that doesn’t happen!
