Fantastic carrier and exceptional value
Ironically, my dog’s name is Peanut, and this Mr. Peanut Carrier is definitely Peanut approved. I think he’s a little disappointed though, because we’re not really going anywhere right now, it was just a photo shoot for this review.I don’t have reason to fly much with my dog anymore, but we recently had to attend a wedding on the other side of the country, and we took the dog as we moved recently and haven’t yet found a good dog sitter. My wife and I both commented that the carrier we had was getting a bit tired and perhaps it was time for a new one. I came across this and decided to give it a try.This carrier is exceptionally well designed. Everything about it feels high quality and well thought-out. The handles and shoulder strap are very sturdy, and the shoulder strap doubles as a leash so you can leave your regular leash in your luggage. There’s a large, zippered compartment on one end (I always bring a collapsable water bowl) and an included ID tag.It also doubles as a car seat, with straps on the back to wrap around a seat belt and a short permanently attached leash on the inside so your dog can’t jump out if you want to leave the top open. Next time we fly, it will be so much more convenient to put the dog in the carrier before we leave, rather than doing it at the last minute once we get to the airport. My dog likes small spaces so being in the carrier during the trip to the airport won’t be a problem.A much as my wife and I like this case, we were both terribly disappointed because we thought it would be too big to fit under an airline seat. We often fly on Spirit (ugh!) so I checked their pet carrier dimensions and then measured this carrier, and it’s too big (or so I thought). Spirit only allows a height of 9″ and this is 11 1/2″.The description does say “airline compliant” though, and I missed something: “Flexible Rear Frame: Rear pocket insert can be removed during plane travel to allow pet carrier to comply with the sizing requirements of smaller aircraft.”This is pretty darn clever. By removing the rear pocket insert (which can be stored under the fleece bottom) the carrier effectively turns into a soft sided carrier and can easily collapse to a height of 9” or less. The only part that won’t collapse is at the very front; there’s a non-removable metal support at that end. But it doesn’t matter, because the entire carrier except for maybe 1/2 inch of the end will collapse as needed to fit under the seat. Ingenious.I’m not normally this enthusiastic about a product, but kudos to whoever designed this. I really can’t say enough good things about it, and honestly, I think it’s worth a lot more than what they’re charging so in my opinion it is not only an excellent product but a very good value. I like what I’ve read about the company as well.

Mr Peanut Hits it Out of the Park Again!
I have two other carriers from this brand. One has been in active use for over five years. I cannot recommend this brand highly enough, and this specific carrier! It is super sturdy and very well packaged. I own cats, so can”t speak to the leash function LOL.My cats are all under 15 pounds and it makes carrying them a breeze. Great choice for active pet owners.

This is so well made! I love that the straps are made of thick rope, and has 2 options to carry it. The flooring on it is soft, and I love that it has straps to place on a rolling suitcase if needed. It also has a name tag you can write pet/owner info on. The colors make it look so high end as well: very satisfied with this purchase!

Nice heavyduty bag, doesn’t sag in the middle. My girl loves jumping in; she knows she’s going places!! It’s become her favorite carrier. Not hot or stuffy inside; she doesn’t end up panting like crazy unlike the other carriers we’ve tried.
