Great Christmas present for cats!
This was supposed to go under the Christmas tree for my cat but I decided to give it to her early because she was meowing at me non-stop to play with it! It’s well designed- the frame is durable, instructions were clear and set up was super easy. The way it works is that there is a plastic frame with fabric covering it, and you put the included balls underneath. One of the included balls is electronic and can be turned on to move and squeak while the other balls have bells inside of them to keep a cat’s attention.I think most cats instinctually hunt and paw at prey especially when the prey is rustling around through the underbrush. In the wild it might be autumn leaves while at home it’s usually a blanket. This toy really simulates that instinctual behavior to dig around for prey. My cat will paw and swat at the included balls through the holes and “hunt” for hours.I’d highly recommend it as a Christmas gift to keep your cats occupied and activate their hunting instincts. I’m planning on getting another one as a holiday present for my friend’s cat.

Cats love it and it works great, but the neon mat isn’t my favorite
I received this item as part of the Vine program. My cats love this toy. I have other Oxawo products and I have never been let down by the company. You do have to put this together, but that wasn’t hard at all once my brain woke up and started working. It comes with extra toys and a charging cord, so that’s a plus. I am giving it 4 stars because of the color of the mat on top. My cats couldn’t care less what color the mat is, but it would be really nice to have a toy that is out on the floor for all to see, be just a more decor friendly color–make it in dark green or black, anything other than the neon! Also, I find that in shopping for cat toys that in the photos for cat toys they put a kitten on the toy so it looks big. That isn’t the case here. The toy is quite large, so look at the specs. It is great for me because I have 4 cats. I like that the toy shuts itself off when cats stop playing with it, and the charge has lasted for a couple of days–maybe it goes longer, but I just put in on the charger JIC. I have it on a rug that has a low pile and the toy moves easily. I don’t have any thicker carpet to test it on.

It’s a hit!
My cats have so many toys, I never know if they’ll pay attention to the new ones I introduce. This one is an unequivocal hit, though. at least with my youngest, who alternates between playing with it (when the self-propelled ball is active) or sleeping on it like a bed.It comes in pieces, which you snap together to create a frame, then stretch the “canopy” over the frame, hooking the loops over protrusions to hold it in place. There are two regular balls, as well as one self-propelled ball, which navigates inside the frame and under the fabric, and that’s what really gets my cat going. And the interesting thing is that she has had many of these self-propelling balls, but there’s something about it moving within a confined space that seems to attract her far more than when it rolls all over the living room floor.It’s worth noting that this is pretty large, so if you want to store it, you’ll probably want to disassemble the frame and fold up the canopy if space is at a premium in your house.

Great For Picky Cats!
Pros:ā¢ Super easy assemblyāmultiple pieces snap together to form the circular track shown in the photos.ā¢ Clear plastic lid straps securely into several points around the rim (though it can pop off if cats lounge on topāsee my photo).ā¢ Includes multiple manual balls plus one automatic ball that really grabs attention.Initial Cat Reaction:My cats immediately claimed it as a bed (classic cat move with anything new š). Once they discovered the balls, though, they were hooked!Playtime Highlights:ā¢ The duo was glued to it for a solid hour.ā¢ The one cat (the bigger one in the pictures) eventually snagged the automatic ball by its fuzzy tail and paraded around the house yowling like heād won a prize.Performance Notes:The automatic ball DOES work on carpet, but it zips around much faster and more reliably on hardwood floors.Verdict:If you have picky cats like mine, this toy is a winner. Just be ready for some hilarious hijinks! Highly recommend.

Keeps My Cat Entertained for Ages!
My cat is obsessed with this toy. Within minutes of setting it up (which took less than five minutes, just snap the pieces together, hook the loops, turn on the ball, and tuck it underneath), he was doing kitten-style flips, stalking it, pawing through the holes, and generally having the best time. He is an only cat with no buddies to play with at home, and it is rare to see him this engaged with an interactive toy for more than a few minutes, so it is honestly delightful to watch.The size is great, big enough to be enriching, but not so bulky that storage becomes a problem. I can easily slide it under the bed or tuck it into a closet when he needs a break. It feels like smart enrichment for high-energy kitties, bored cats, or anyone who needs a little extra mental stimulation.It is also fairly quiet while running, enough that you likely will not hear it over a TV show or movie. If you need something to distract your cat while you relax, this fits the bill without being disruptive.The price on this is beyond reasonable, especially considering how much entertainment your cat will get from it. The cost per use really drops over time, making it a great value compared to toys that get ignored after a day.Based on how mesmerized he is, this feels like a total win in our household. Highly recommend if your cat needs a fun new obsession!
