The zippers are smooth and reliable. If your dog has just a bit of fur near the edges, it wonāt get stuck ā they zip up just fine.

Good carrier for small pets!
Bought two of the small size for my 2 pomeranian. My tan Pom (first pic) weighs 5.6lbs and it fits him perfectly. My cream Pom (second pic) weighs 4.3 lbs and itās a little too long for him, it gets clear to his chin and he couldnāt look down but itās not too bad, good enough. For reference, I showed the difference in height between my two poms, the tan one has a taller body compared to the cream one. Also, I showed the pic of the carrier I bought, one is camo, one is black. If you want sturdy ones get the camo, itās like a canvass material compared to the black one that is a mesh material but it is still sturdy enough to hold a 6lbs dog. The straps are comfortable enough but I only tried it for a very short time just to see how my dogs fit in it. It is very easy to get your dog in it because it has zippers on both sides, it only makes it harder to zip if your pets have long hair and so fluffy. I only gave 4 stars because theyāre not accurate with their sizing, if I followed their chart sizing I wouldāve gotten the medium ones and it wouldāve been way too big for my dogs, and thatās why I wrote a detailed review for everyone that are looking for carrier like this to help you decide better. Overall, Iām happy with the purchase. Hope my review helps!

Small & Medium sizing issue
I ordered this product in sizes Small & Medium. The small was extremely tiny & the medium was a giant step up from the small size. I have a toy poodle that is approximately 6-7 lb. She fits into the Medium but could potentially jump out of it, as it is very loose. The small would be very tight on her & is much too small. I think I will end up keeping the medium probably but I just worry about her jumping out of it. The issue is, even in the medium, it is a challenge to zip up the sides without getting her fur stuck in the zipper. So for sure, the small is impossible to zip her up in. I almost canāt think of any dog that would fit in the size small. Maybe a toy or teacup poodle puppy.The overall design is very cute, however, & it is well made & a good value for the cost. I have tried several sling & backpack (front pack) options & I think this is the best one.

Do not use for extra small pets.
This is ill fitting for pets weighing 2.9 pounds. There is too much wiggle room. Pets canāt see over the top. There is no belt to secure around the back to stabilize movement. My pet is not happy with struggle of getting in and out of this device.

I like it. I got it because she was injured and couldnāt walk on one of her hands for 10 days. Well she appreciated it Iām sure but as for liking it I think she had mixed feelings. Itās soft sturdy and super cute. My 5lb Chihuahua fit perfectly in XS. S wouldāve been way too big.

No back support and flimsy straps
I bought the smallest size for my Yorkie-poo puppy. The pouch part is good and he liked it, but the straps are very flimsy and there is no back support. It pulls all of his weight to my front and is very uncomfortable. Iām returning.

I have a 7 pound Chihuahua and it fits her perfect and she loves sitting in it, facing out lol. The downside is the zipper is not sturdy, so not sure how long itāll last. Love the color, too bad there wasnāt more back support. But itāll be good for the winter, and putting her inside my coat.

I have been searching high and low for a small carrier for my 2.5 chihuahua and although this is the smallest Iāve found so far itās too big for my guy. I do like it so Iāll keep it in hopes he will grow into it. Iām not sure he will get much bigger but he seems to hold himself in it ok.
