Best value and easy way to add a security camera
I can’t say enough about this camera that has been recently added to the WYZE Family of quality products. This is extremely easy to set up and add to your existing WYZE app for additional coverage to secure your home or business. I recommend it to anyone interested. It is extremely important to determine that you the correct light fixtures that it can be mounted. Basically, if your light fixture is the type that the bulb is enclosed the housing, you may need to change the fixture. The light is very bright and the camera picture is very good. Plus you can purchased a WYZE light bulb that can be integrated with the system for light coordination. There is no remote pan/tilt with the camera in this first model. You have to set, forget, and adjust it to get the picture angle. Overall, best easiest way to add a security camera at your home. Highly recommended!!! Don’t forget to put a Mini SD CARD if you want some type of storage.

A lot of different subscriptions and only faces one direction.
Overall, this is a great camera. The video is nice and clear, it alerts me with movement, and set up took all of five minutes between connecting and plugging it in. I do want to note, this camera CAN NOT be controlled via the app in the way of movement. Admittedly, this is partially my fault for not going further down and seeing the picture of a person moving the camera, I just had not realized that meant no auto rotation. You set it in one direction, and it stays in that direction unless you move it yourself. There is good and bad to this, as if you want to be able to turn to see a different angle, or a different side just for a quick peek when you are away, you’d can’t. No camera movement. I think it surprised me as I have purchased about four different bulb cameras before this, and this was the FIRST time I got a more name brand, and the FIRST time I got a camera that does not have the ability to rotate remotely. A bit frustrating, but again, the video is nice.The other thing I want to point out is there are quite a few different layers of subscriptions. I am used to one with a few different levels, but this one is confusing. You have the basic free, then a Cam Plus which is very fairly price. I thought this was it, then I realized there are two more, Cam unlimited, and cam unlimited pro which are kind of hidden until you do the first one who its a bit misleading but again, not overly serious. The other two subscriptions are a significant more. I did just go with the cam plus to have some cloud recording. If the camera self rotated, I would be tempted to get the other plan, but as it is, I think this bulb with just be the lesser plan.I will say, having an actual light attached is amazing and well worth the annoyance of the camera not self rotating. I don’t have another light on my garage. Honestly, I would have probably returned this if it didn’t have the light.
