Great Starter Automatic Litter Box
Overall, this is a nice automatic litter box. I’d say it’s a good alternative for the Litter Robot.Things I enjoy:1) it’s easy to assemble and instructions are clear2) performs all the necessary functions on the machine itself and in the app – automatic cleaning (can turn off with kitten mode) and optional periodic cleanings, deodorization (need to have purifying liquid installed), litter leveling, maintenance mode for cleaning/adding litter, etc.3) the quality of all functions are as intended – It does accurately sift out clumps of urine and feces with minimal effort and collects them in a central waste bin without clumps sticking to the inside walls or getting stuck (gross). If the litter clumps are sticking to the inside of the litter box, there’s an issue with the litter you’re using, NOT the litter box itself. Make sure you’re using clumping litter! Crystal litter that doesn’t clump will NOT work. Automatic cleanings and deodorization have all performed well and accurately after the cat leaves the litter box.4) app is well designed and easy to navigate – not only can you perform all the functions listed above from the app, but it also keeps track of each cat’s potty usage as well as the amount of litter and deodorizer left, and will notify you (if you desire).5) actual construction of the litter box is well done – Rotates with ease, easy to disassemble, waste bin is intuitive and the odor eliminator packet inside really does get rid of the smell of feces and urine.The sensor on the litter box is also very accurate. I have 2 bengal kittens that look very similar, and it is able to recognize which kitten is inside the litter box based off their weight.As with any automatic litter box, there’s still maintenance involved. The entire unit should be disassembled and cleaned every month because there’s a lot more areas and crevices that will eventually get gunked up. So yeah, you don’t have to scoop every day, but honestly, I think the automatic litter box involves just as much work if not more than a regular litter box. This kit includes everything you’d need – a mat, a roll of waste bin liners, odor eliminator packet, and 2 purifying liquids. If you’d like to transition from a regular litter box to an automatic one, give this one a try. It’s not overly pricey, but performs just as well as the super expensive ones.

Safety First!
I love this litter box. It is totally safe for your cats and controls litter odor remarkably well. Weekly maintenance is a breeze. I did a lot of research before buying it and I’m happy with my purchase. This box has amazing customizable functions and a camera that makes for interesting entertainment. My biggest concern was safety followed by odor control and availability of replacement parts. Petkit’s Purobot Max Pro checks all the boxes. It’s a winner!!

Great concept but needs engineering help.
The first week I was ready to give this 5 star review but I started to have issues. First the air freshener kept telling me is wasn’t on line, it seemed to be working so I emailed the tech line and they gave me a bunch of things to try, not very clear instructions but I tried anyway, still dud the same, finally the third time the tech informed me it’s normal, the only time it will show on line is when it’s deodorizing…Second, I noticed urine on the tumblr during a dump cycle, upon further investigation somehow the cats figured how to pee between the tumbler and the base and urine was collecting in the base, not good it created a mess…Third, the tumbler would stop on its own about three quarters of the was through the dump cycle and would not finish, this happened three times, I had to unplug it and wait for it to reset to finish. The final straw was the cats basically refusing to use it and the cleaning of the tumbler is kind of a hassle. So for the first few days I thought it was great but by the end of the week it was evident it needs some serious engineering and to go back to the drawing board and wasn’t going to work for us. The team responded within a day and were understanding and good to work with even though we couldn’t solve the issues.

A real time saver!
This tracks all 5 of my cats in their litter box habits and keeps a clean environment for them to do their business. None of my cats, from 6 to 14 lbs is hesitant to use it. It’s art up in such a way that the opening never closes entirely as it rotates and I’ve seen it pause if a cat approaches it while in motion. The receptacle holds a lot of waste. I still have a regular litterbox upstairs but when I can, I hope to replace that one too.

10/10 the best litter box
This one is so easy to set up. I gifted my mom this one years ago and it’s still going strong. With my new cat I wanted one too. My cat picked it up right away. Just turn the cleaning cycle off and let it get a little dirty so they get used to it. Wide and spacious. Cleans itself easy. So quiet you can’t hear it. So nice it also weighs your cat. I tried another one and it was so glitchy and my cat didn’t like it at all. Would pee right in front of it. Not this one! Love the safety features where it stops if the cats go by it while running too.

We waited a while to review this item to give the best information.We absolutely LOVE this machine. NO it’s not perfect, but nothing is.It’s a lot bigger than we expected, even though the sizes are correct, it just feels like a massive item. Because of the round shape it took us a while to find a good place, but it’s not a bothersome view.Our kitten got used to it very quickly (on the kitten mode!) and since she’s still small we do the manual clean instead of automatic (kitten mode simply turns off the auto clean). We tested the sensors when cleaning and they do react quickly, even though our cat is “too small”, so we feel it’s very trustworthy.Filling, cleaning and maintaining is very easy. Yes it is a bit of work when you take the whole thing apart and clean it all, and yes it gets dirty after a while. But it is nothing compared to a normal cat litter box. It’s super convenient and easy to use, the app is easy and useful, plus the smell is a massive improvement.Sometimes it doesn’t clean it all out and some clutter sticks on the side, but usually it sorts itself in the next turn.We did learn that it works best with the litter & odor eliminator from the same brand and changed monthly (maybe 5-6 weeks depending on use) to keep the nice smell. (Our kitten had to get used to the litter slowly, it smells really nice and she wasn’t sure whether to eat it or use it as her toilet). The bin bags could be changed to another brand, we prefer the originals too, but others might be cheaper.We do not use the parfum addition, it’s unnecessary.We find it worth the money for sure! Even though it is a bit expensive, it’s definitely worth the convenience and improvement on smell in the house. We’re very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

Lifechanging purchasse. Never have to scoop again. Came pre assembled and was very easy to show our cat how to use. Very sturdy. The weight sensor is a bit off though and registers her at 1.6kg when she is 4.6kg, however this isnt a big issue as it is very safe and can detect when she comes in and whens too clean, so no need to worry about safety. Does not leak, waste bin cleaned out every 1.5 weeks. Was a little pricey but does work well. The app is very good too.

Not one to leave a review but it took me a year to talk my husband into something like this, and we faltered due to the price. We’ve got 4 cats, one indoor only, and I can’t bear cat litter. My husband was going away for a week and I knew I’d have to get involved so I splashed out, and I wish we did it years ago. It uses barely any litter and it’s really good. On one occasion it didn’t clean, but you just hit the clean button on the app and it does it for you. I can’t speak to how long it lasts, but so far we absolutely love it.For balance, cons are I don’t think it logs the cats usage properly, some days it says no one has used it when they have, but honestly I don’t need to know how often my cat poops. It’s also quite large, although not too heavy. It’s smart knowing if a cat is approaching it but can get stuck mid clean if it’s stopped because they’re near, but again – you just hit the clean button and it finishes. Very waffly review but absolutely recommend to anyone. No more stinky litter and litter all round the tray

I don’t want to understate how life changing this has been and I know that sounds like a wild thing to say, but I haven’t had to scoop litter for over a month. I have two cats and had two litter trays and my cats, being posh wouldn’t use the litter tray if the other one did. So I would regularly find poop on the floor because it wasn’t clean enough for them. I used to change the litter once a week and I guesstimate I was spending roughly half an hour a day with regular scooping and probably an hour a week to change and scrub the litter trays. This thing is bloody amazing. It keeps the tray fresh and my cats adapted to it immediately. When setting it up, I transferred the soiled litter into the Petkit to help make it familiar and once they were using it, I changed the litter completely.Now, they’re fully adapted I can leave this thing for most of the week before I have to just open the tray, change the litter bag and go on with my life. The cats use it frequently, it cleans itself as often and my utility room no longer smells. The Petkit, removes the soiled litter immediately, so I’m using less litter, because it’s leaving the unsoiled litter behind. I have been completely changing the litter every 3 weeks ish, which means my litter is lasting 3 times longer. I think I’ll make the money back in litter costs in a year at most. Yes there is the extra cost of the rubbish bags and air freshener thing but it’s so worth it. I hope this review helps people decide if you’re on the fence. Also beware of the fake ones on ebay. I would say the one downside is that my cats are laser beam accurate at flicking the litter out the hatch, so I’m still sweeping daily.

This is essentially a faeces tumble dryer. It filters 90% of it from the litter, meanwhile significant poop smudge is stuck around the roof of the drum as the turd is spun round to its exit shoot. Note, It does not eliminate any smells. This thing is also massive and looks like a miniature MRI machine . You will struggle to position this eye sore whilst it still requires mains power. Also note that the unit requires to have space around it to allow the drum to spin poo clumps.Now the worst bits….I bought this UNIT to save Time. Picking up cat poop on a daily is clearly not fun. Unfortunately it does not save anytime and here is why….1. When you eventually have to do a deep clean and wipe all of the smudged poo around the inside of the drum and the poo exit shoot, it will literally take you a life time to clean. Trying to remove the litter out of this unit is difficult and will fall out everywhere. All in, it had taken around 1.5 hours to clean it.2. As this poop box requires small to fine litter, when your pussy exits this contraption he/she/they will drag the litter out with them on their paws, a lot more so than using other larger litter. We have found remains of this litter literally everywhere. I tried the cat door screen which did not reduce this issue so more money wasted. You could install a litter catcher mat on the floor outside the opening which might help however coz this turd mri unit already takes up so much floor space installing a large mat in front just made it very impractical.So in the long run this unit saved zero time.Unfortunately the only solution to all of this is to install a cat flap and let your furry crap outside in your neighbours garden.Hi, my name is Chris and I am still picking up cat poop in 2025 👍
