Ultra air filter
It works well and it’s very quiet. I put it in between the kitchen and living room area. It’s designed for big rooms. It’s in a cylinder shape. It’s not too high and can be placed on the floor. It has fan settings from 1 to 10 (low to high). Even on 10, the fan it’s still very quiet. It removes the smell in the room quite well. There is a UV light and HEPA filter. I turn on the UV when I was stick and it seems to prevent germs from circulating as no one else got sick in my house. It’s pretty light for it’s size so it’s easy to move around and store. The purifier also tells you what your indoor air quality. You can set the fan to auto to correspond to the air quality. It’s lasted for 2 months so far and it’s still going strong.Great purifier overall.

Great Air Purifier, works really nicely and seems to cycle the room air quite well. Shows the quality of the air in the room too and has various settings for the fan. It is a bit bigger then I expected, but it does push a lot of air.

Decent airpurifier
This a great whole room home air purifier! It works well to clean the air and it constantly scans the air quality and turns on more when the air quality is bad. The color ring on top changes when the air quality is bad (orange is worse than green). It is a large size which is due to it being able to do such a large square footage which makes sense.However I’m only giving it 4 stars because it has a very bright light on the top of it and you can’t leave the fan part on and still have the light turn off. If you want the light to be off you have to put it in sleep mode which means you don’t have noise. My husband and I like the noise of the fan without the light on top which unfortunately isn’t possible. We have now just decided to put a wash cloth over the top of it which looks weird but I guess it works. Overall it’s a good product that works well but it could be set up better. It has nice settings like the auto program, sleep program, UVC light, and 10 fan modes. Ohh and it has a weird fan cover that is just cloth that you can keep on or remove. I feel like it’ll get dirty overtime but for now I’m using it. I do love the grand germ guardian! I have a 10 year old product from them that is still running strong! Just have to change the filter regularly and it should last for forever! Overall a good product but could be better.

The UV light and outer sleeve are excellent differentiators.
Our area has been getting a lot of wildfires smoke this past year and my neighbor barbeques right outside my back door. This second air purifier was needed. My current model just wasn’t enough for the whole house, and I frequently had to open it and vacuum the filter. This model has a exterior cloth sleeve that keeps the hair from getting in and covering the filter. It may just be a coincidence, but now when one of us gets ill the others don’t all get sick at the same time. I appreciate that little added benefit of the UV light.Pros:• 4 layers of filtering.• 3.5 watt quartz glass bulb UV for germ reduction.• Looks nice imho.• Easy to use controls.Cons:• None yet but will need to replace the cloth sleeve and bulb at some point. Hopefully they are easy to find at that time.

Impressive
This air purifier is impressive, and I couldn’t be happier. My bedroom suffers from dust and pollen tracked from outdoors, leading to a musty odor at night. What impressed me immediately was that the air purifier was incredibly easy to set up. I removed the plastic wrapping, plugged it in, and it was ready. The controls are intuitive, allowing me to operate without constantly checking the manual. Plus, I liked that the controls were face-up on the top, which made them easy to access. I used it at high speed initially in my bedroom, where the initial Air Quality Index (AQI) was around 120. Amazingly, within about 45 minutes, it dropped to an excellent level of just 4 for my 1800 sq. ft. room. One of my favorite features is its quietness, especially in sleep mode. I can barely hear it, which is perfect for nighttime use. The HEPA/Carbon filter and UV-C bulb are easy to remove for maintenance. I appreciate that the cloth pre-filter is washable, though it feels flimsy. I’m curious how it will hold up over time. After running the unit for a few hours, my bedroom smelled noticeably fresher, and I feel confident that it’s effectively reducing germs and odors. I was relieved to find that it doesn’t emit any ozone smell, which is a concern with some air purifiers. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the upward airflow design means I have to be careful where I place it to avoid blowing curtains or lightweight items on shelves. It’s also a bit heavy. I am delighted with this effective, quiet, and easy-to-use air purifier.

Super strong air purification
The GermGuardian Airsafe+ XL air purifier is such an intelligent piece of equipment. This machine is ultra quiet when operating at high load but the air purification is still strong. The sensors in the unit work well to detect when air quality suffers and then automatically adjusts fan speed to reach the desired air purity levels. Cleaning the unit is so easy with just a twist of the base to remove the filter. I feel like this machine is going to last us a long time and provide many years of clean air in our home.
