Dog Breath
I only use a capful to one gallon of water. It has worked to eliminate my dog’s bad breath. Because there is such a small amount in the water I haven’t noticed my dog having an aversion to drinking the water. My advice to the company is to write better instructions on the bottle. I doubt my dog would drink the water if I just poured some into her water bowls. She has one small water bowl and one large water bowl. There needs to be some kind of measurement. I keep a gallon jug at each water station. Adding one capful was easy and convenient – and it worked. However, the instructions need to be specific for those who don’t do that.

It actually works!
I have an 11 year old Maltese with teeth and gum issues despite cleanings and bones. His mouth used to smell so I researched what to do to help keep his mouth clean and this product came up. I use a mouthwash with a similar if not exact same ingredient that is supposed to prevent gingivitis. This stuff actually works! His mouth smells so much better. No it didn’t cure his gum and teeth issues but it did really make a difference with redness and sensitivity. He’s doing better on dry dog food. If you’re thinking of trying this don’t hesitate! Great product and it is affordable and arrived quicky!

Dog water additive for breathe
Liked it at first. Dogs weren’t super thrilled with it. Too many chemicals so switched to an organic one

Good product
This helps deter the intensity of the dogs “dead fish” smelling breath. His breath is not good, but better. It did not remove the tartar as others have claimed. Based on the minty smell, I thought he might not drink the water but he did with no ill effects. And that’s pretty good because he has a sensitive stomach. it did help and we will keep using it.

Worked wonders
This product worked wonders on my dog’s teeth and gums. Before she had a lot of tartar and very red gums. After using this product for a week, everything cleared up. Her teeth are whiter and her gums no longer look infected. I highly recommend. This has a very minty smell, but my dog doesn’t seem toind. I use two capsules in a large bowl of water daily. This product contains chlorhexidine which is why I think it works so well.

Poor safety: no seal on container
This product now is shipped without any seal and comes with a piece of tape that says it’s a seal that is on the front of the bottle and not anywhere near the cap to seal. I did a return and the replacement came the same way. Previously they came with a seal that needed to be removed before using like all food, toletries, etc. have. This is a bad safety issue so I will not be using this product anymore. If a seal is missing on this type of product you should discard and if that’s the way they package it now pick another manufacturer that does seal for safety. There’s lots of good ones to pick from! I really wouldn’t even give it one star.

chanting a nice jingle as I actually do so
One day my newly pup, Rocky, jumped on me and started to lick my face. I gagged and nearly spit out my stomach. My wife then told me about this product and literally laughed at her while asking, how would a dog swish the “doggy mouth wash?” Laughing my abs into life threatening cramps… still gagging BTW.I must admit that the price of the Advanced Oral Care for Dogs (& Cats) was enough to convince a careful consumer such as myself to at least try the questionable product. Just add 1 tablespoon for every 3 cups of water, chanting a nice jingle as I actually do so. I then let Rocky enjoy this fresh-magic-mouth-potion, while thinking of another way to poke fun at the wife. Before I could open my mouth to take verbal jabs at her Rocky jumped up to lick my face. To my surprise I was graced with a refreshing scent of magnificent minty moochies.I constantly resist the urge to make out with my pup. I am very pleased with this product.Seriously though. I hardly write reviews and Advanced Oral Care was a good enough purchase to get me off the lazy train to write a response. I just wanted it to be worth reading while giving the due praise this product deserves.Just try it, You’ll like it!

If the dog doesn’t like it….
I thought it was a great item! Turns out my little dog won’t drink her water with in added. Odd since she will drink dirty river water! I’ll keep trying, but may have wasted my money.
