The Midwest Skudo Plastic Pet Carrier is the ideal solution when traveling with your pet. Made of durable plastic, this pet carrier features a built-in litter tray and litter scoop. The convenient litter tray is located in the base of the carrier and can be accessed by sliding the plastic lid out giving the cat access to the litter. The entire tray can then be removed from the base and dumped or scooped clean using the provided litter scoop. Great for long drives with your cat, rabbit or other litter trained pets. The plastic litter scoop is conveniently stored in its own compartment in the front of the carrier base. There is even room to throw in some liners or trash bags to make dumping the litter easier. The carrier is equipped with a metal grid door and a convenient carrying handle. Snap-lock buckles ensure easy assembly while the vents provide circulation and optimal visibility. Simple. Easy. Effective.
This carrier is easy to assemble and use, plus it’s very sturdy and the material can be wiped clean with ease if your cat makes a mess inside. Both of my cats gave it a sniff inspection and wandered inside since I leave the carriers open under the bed as a place they can go hide if they want to. It fits in the front seat of my car but I do have a large SUV so it may be a tighter squeeze for smaller cars and need to go in the backseat. I like having my cat up front when we go to the vet so they can see and smell me through the ride, since neither of my cats enjoy car rides.

Great little bedroom
Our shihpoo loves his little bedroom to the point that we had to get the larger one since he outgrew the small one. It’s lightweight, pretty sturdy and easy to clean. We haven’t had any trouble opening it and it keeps him safe whenever we go out at night. It’s very easy to assemble. The larger one we ordered came assembled. For size reference, he’s 14 inches long and about 12 inches tall.

Defective and not safe
I had high hopes for this carrier so I could replace my 20 year-old. Something that was more convenient to take apart and put together rather than screws all around the side. However, as you can see in my video, the door didn’t fit this carrier. It does not have security hinges, and the box itself does not close entirely, and pieces were broken. I will be returning this.

Litter access is GENIUS
I needed this … I took my kittens to vet and I guess they couldn’t hold it cause it was like hour away and when I tell you the smell I had to experience in that car was DREADFUL … I looked up cat crates with litter the next day and this thing checks all the boxes. I do wish that when you take the cover off the litter access area that there was a place to store it but other than that it’s great idea to have that litter access. Trust me.

This carrier is fantastic. I live 3.5-4 hours away from my family and bring my cat with me in the car. The litter box has saved us multiple times during these trips. My cat can go pee if he needs to and don’t have to worry about him getting pee on himself. Rating 4 stars because the litter box tray is hard to remove sometimes for cleaning
