The dogs love it and it looks good in the room. Assembly was pretty straightforward and not too difficult even for 1 person. Very sturdy and solid.

Purchased for our room so both of our mini bull terrier can have their own space.This was an easy built but my hubby definitely took lead on it as it had many pieces lol.The crate is really nice and sleek.You can divide it in to 2 or make it 1 large crate. Regardless, both are nice.We did purchase a thin rubber piece inside just in case the had accidents inside.

I got it today. I’m super excited for this as it’ll be a huge space saver for me.I spent an hour and a half setting it up (directions are extremely easy to follow. You’ll only need an Allen wrench and Phillips head). I was SO excited to get the top on — then this. The screw holes on the top are 3/4” off center from the holes on the base AND 3/4” out (where the overhang is on the front).I did chat with Amazon. They’re sending a replacement. I’ll first see if the top from that fits, so I don’t have to reassemble the entire thing. Amazon customer service has been stellar – they’re even having a delivery driver come to my house to pick up the defective product.ADVICE: BEFORE assembling the entire thing, first check the top piece and side panels to make sure the holes line up. It’ll save you an hour to an hour and a half of time.Once the replacement is sent, I’ll update. I’d usually give this 4 stars. Decent quality – the corners have wear (to be expected from shipping wrapped particular board from China) and the lock is SUPER flimsy and doesn’t really work well. But it has a nice design and is sturdy enough for my Shih Tzu and French Bulldog.UPDATE: I contacted Amazon. It is covered by their A to Z policy. The seller sent me a new unit, I took the top part out and it fit perfectly on the assembled lower unit. It is now assembled and works well! I put the old lid in the box and sent it back (seller knows it contains a defective part. I hope they don’t resell it).The lock doesn’t work so well (the button sticks and keeps it locked) but other than that, I’m grateful for the metal bars with my teething puppy.

I have 2 labs and they fit perfectly , assemble is A LOT ! But instructions are well done , took like 2 hrs to assemble but totally worth it . Easy to clean and a touch of elegance in the space .

Don’t buy it
Do not buy this if your dog jumps or paws at all. The door falls off easy the lock sucks, and I don’t even know how a screw came out. I’m talking about a board young lab.. not even a big dog. Really disappointed. I definitely had high hopes. Had it about a week and it’s already not working out.

It’s not wide enough for a large dog
Overall I love the look and sturdiness of it. My biggest complaint is that it is not wide enough for a large dog. I intended this for my rotti/shepherd mix, but I failed to notice that it’s only 21 inches wide, which is 6 inches less than a standard 40 inch crate.He can stand up and sit down in it just fine, but he can’t turn around.Fortunately I have smaller dogs here, so I will just use it for one of them and look for something else.
