I recently tried out Blue Buffalo Wilderness Wild Delights High Protein Grain Free, Natural Adult Minced Wet Cat Food for my furry friend, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! The chicken and turkey flavors were a hit with my cat, and I loved that the ingredients were all natural and grain-free. Healthy carnivore diet
Just so sick of the lack of options for carnivorous pets and the ridiculous advertisements trying to get people to feed their pets more vegetables. Cats (and dogs) are obligate carnivores. Feeding them fruit and vegetables is bad for them! Yes, cats eat grass, but they eat it to throw up. Their instinct is to consume grass to clean out their systems and help them throw up fur balls. Their bodies are not set up to digest non-meat roughage. This Blue Buffalo turkey and chicken has some potato starch in it, but other than that it is the “cleanest” (grain and veg free) food I’ve found at the most reasonable price (yes, some are actually higher).That being said, just a note on what another reviewer said about fish. She said that Blue Buffalo does not have fish in any of their products. But Blue Buffalo DOES have fish food options. It was also stated that cats don’t go in water (for fish), and that’s just not true. Some breeds are inherently afraid of water, other breeds actually love water, most breeds are indifferent and will enter water if they see a fish near the the shore. However, in the wild, a cat’s main menu is mice and birds. Yet we can’t get mice and birds for cat food, for whatever reason. I prefer not feeding my cats fish because of all the problems with mercury. So my next best bet was turkey and chicken. They seem to like the turkey the most. Anyway, glad I found this.

My cats are healthy on this!
I have 2 rescued cats, both about 14 years old now, who do best on this particular Blue Brand food. It is a complete food and has NO FISH or FISH OIL, which is important since on of my girls is highly allergic to fish. (If you think about it a minute it’s not so weird. They eat small rodents, bugs, etc. in the wild. Even entering water isn’t natural to most cats let alone fishing.) Anyway, this is one of the early Blue formulas that is getting harder to find in stores. I am SO glad I can order through Amazon!

I like that these are high protein, you can tell it’s real meat by looking at it and that there’s enough in one can for a meal for my two cats.

Made my cat sick
If I could give a zero stars I would. This food made my cat very sick. My cat had the worst diarrhea. I switch home to a new food all day to see which food caused the issue once I gave him a serving of this to test out which food was the issue, sure enough this was the culprit. They would not except return but I. Contacted customer service and was an able to receive a curtesy refund. So be aware they will not let you return the food once purchased.
