Overall Would Recommend
CAT PRO TIP: Occasionally put your cat in their carrier and just drive them around the block, bringing them right back home. Your cat will enjoy their carrier (no matter what kind) a lot more and tolerate car rides a lot better if they don’t always end in a vet visit.I bought this as a gift for someone, so I’m not able to say TOO much about it; however I did see it opened up and played with it a little bit. I’m also a cat lady so I know a lot about carriers.There are many great things about this carrier.PROS:- It was really quick and easy to “Pop-Up” into it’s usable shape from its flattened storage shape. It took literally seconds.- It’s nice and roomy, which is obviously important for larger cats, but I think would also make it much more comfortable for little furry babies to ride in when traveling long distances. Even my own largest cat could definitely stand up in this carrier, as well as lay down and stretch out. I imagine you could even carry two cats in this who are very close friends and who like to cuddle; however I would definitely test it out at home before putting them in the car that way. Then, put them in the car and just drive around the block together if that goes well. Some cats could definitely end up fighting if in close quarters when stressed out.- I really like that you can make it so the cats can see out or not. From personal experience I can say some cats feel safer not being able to see out, while others feel more in control of the situation when they can see what’s going on.- It’s great that you can open this from the top. Your vet may not even have to take your cat out of the carrier in order to do a check up.- Because of the style of this carrier, it would also be great to leave out in the house so the cats can use it as a little relaxation station. This will make it less scary for the cat when it’s time to travel.Cons:- It may be so that it folds down more easily, but I think it would be better if the mesh screen was that rubbery plastic kind versus fabric. I think it would be more difficult for a cat to get their claws stuck that way, plus I think it would be more durable.- I can imagine this would be difficult to carry very far because of its size. I’m only 5′ 5″ so that may just reflect my own short arm problems though. It would probably be easier for a taller person.- I would not recommend this for someone who’s kitty cat always uses the bathroom in their carrier. I think it would be too hard to clean out. HOWEVER- I think having a comfortable, not scary carrier may keep a cat from using the restroom in it.OVERALL:Despite the fact that I already have carriers for each of my babies, I will definitely buy one of these for my own personal use if I ever need to go very far with them in the car.As I’m typing this on my phone, please forgive any spelling or grammatical errors.

Extremely sturdy, very roomy
I bought 2 of these carriers from this seller about 2 years ago for my cats. They are the BEST carriers I have ever used. The quality is amazing. I am a very overprotective cat mom so I don’t write this review without having scrutinized every inch of them. Let’s get into the details. First off, the seams are sturdy and very well crafted. The material it’s made from is I guess almost pvc on the inside so it’s very easy to clean but on the outside, it’s more like canvas. The vents are one of my main make-it or break-it things for me bc I don’t want them the seams to fail or my cats to be able to claw through them. The ones on these carriers meet my expectations fully. They are thicker than any I have had and again, the seams are well crafted. Each opening has double zippers which I always require bc I put little locks on them by putting the zippers together, that way it’s even more secure. They are incredibly roomy. Tall enough that they can stand up, get comfy and turn around. One of my cats is 20 pounds and he’s tall and long but has more than enough room. They come with a very nice bed that honestly could be sold alone. The bed is removable for easy washing. My cats are very comfortable on long trips out of state. I drive a maxima and the two carriers take up my entire backseat which I don’t mind. The carrying strap is strong and is actually pretty comfortable while moving them with my cats inside. I would highly recommend this carrier and soon I will be buying another bc I have 3 cats now. It’s more expensive yes, but will save in the long run bc you won’t have to buy so many inferior ones like I used to. Also your fur baby will be much more comfortable. I hope this review helps with your decision. We are going out of state today for the holidays, so they are about to get used again.

Deluxe Cat Carrier, Cat-Tent and Bunk Bed! 3 paws up from the Weston cats!!
I ordered this new ‘cat carrier’ for our 3 cats for Christmas. Our old soft-sided carrier was fine, just old and starting to show wear. I tried to envision the size of this new carrier when I ordered it. When it arrived, I wasn’t sure what to do – it was far more large and heavy than I anticipated! Sending it back would be costly, so I decided to wait until Christmas to see what my husband and cats thought about it first.First of all, this carrier is DELUXE! It is of much higher quality and made with better materials than most high-end tents for humans. LOVE the ability to have the screens zipped down with the canvas flaps rolled up. Love that 3 sides open up. Love that is is very sturdy and made of such durable material. LOVE the very soft and thick, removable cushion!! Laughed when we found 4 metal spikes included but wasn’t sure what they were for until we saw the loops at the 4 corners of the base – they are tent stakes!! Awesome!!Even though we thought it might be too large for a trip down the street to the vet, we thought we’d let them use it as a ‘cat-tent’ on our screened in porch during the summer (they have successively destroyed the last 2 nylon cat tents they had used in the past). We set up the carrier inside the house with 2 of the sides opened up (unzipped with the flap rolled up) and waited to see what would happen. It was a constant parade of cats in and out, sometimes playing, sometimes sleeping. Our 6 year old cat Mabel and new kitten Louis have most recently turned it into a bunk bed (see photo). I am going to make another cushion out of fleece for the top bunk!Even though we didn’t think we’d use it as a carrier, on Dec. 26th our oldest, most fierce and rather large calico cat Mimi was scheduled to go to the vet for a dental cleaning. Despite the lovely new red carrier we just opened the day before, we put her into the old carrier. She came close to busting out of it and was so out of control that she rolled the carrier across the floor while she was in it, howling all the time. We drew straws to see who would try and get her into the new carrier. The old carrier actually fit inside the new one and we kind of dumped her into the new one. It was a miracle, she was so much better with the room to move. She couldn’t press on all 4 sides at once to try and get out. All the people at the vet were admiring it – the carrier, not the calico 😉 So on all fronts, from extra sturdy carrier to bunk bed to cat tent, everyone loves it!!!! THANKS!

I’m extremely impressed by the solid construction of this carrier – once assembled (easy to do) it feels very sturdy. I like the loop to accommodate a seat belt since it’s being used for car rides to the vet (can’t comment on it’s it’s utility on other modes of transport like flying). This smaller sized carrier was roomy enough for my 10 pound cat – he liked the velvet pillow (nice it’s removable for easy cleaning). I liked the multiple points of entry – sides and top – since he’s not a fan of the standard plastic front entry carrier. I left it out at home with one side rolled up and he napped there as a cozy hideaway. All of the soft sided carriers in the pet stores near me seemed ridiculously flimsy and poorly made – which is why I had to import this one from Amazon. The navy blue colour looks elegant. I would recommend this as a wonderfully secure & easy means of pet transport as well as a nice nap station/bed.

The materials, zipper and mesh screens are high quality! Very nice plush cushion comes with it as well. You can take the cushion out to wash it or use it elsewhere. Even the technicians at my vet clinic complimented me on the quality of this carrier! I use it all the time at home as a place to feed my kitten so that she gets used to the carrier as a happy place so that it’s easy for me to get her to go inside it when I need to take her to the vet. That trick works very well! I like that you can open it up on 3 sides and the top or have the mesh screens on or close them all up. The large zippered opening on the top makes it so much easier to put her inside or take her out quickly without much fuss. I got the large size and although it is a bit awkward to walk around with, I only use it to take my kitten to/from my car to the vet or on other driving trips. I have a pet backpack if I need to take her on longer walks. I really like this and would recommend it to everyone. It’s so much better than the standard plastic hard case with only one small caged opening on one end.
