Wow i love it its exactly what I’ve been searching for it’s not small enough not big enough it is perfect it stands alone and it’s not too hard or bulky i can fit my two small real teacup Chihuahuas that way about 2 pounds and three pounds 6 punds all all together I love this it fits perfect enough in front of my feet in my car as passenger and it is very well-constructed looks like really good quality it’s actually very comfortable and the support on it is amazing the straps gives it a lot of support overall the whole backpack weighs less than a pound I chose the all black one because I wanted that camouflage effect where it’s not that noticeable or flamboyant so that it catches everybody’s I I don’t like my dogs being touched very much sore handled because I’m a germaphobe and this bag gives me that it’s comfortable in my front and in my back overall it’s a great investment so far yes I definitely would recommend this product. I think this might fit in between your feet if you were going to be in an airline I hope that answers any buddies questions but then again I’m very tiny myself so my favorite part is that the straps are very very adjustable and it comes with that hard pad so my dogs can sit on and it really gives them that stability i love that ill be able to wash it if any accidents were to happen. I love that it’s completely collapsible and easy to hide and I can put it anywhere and I can say OK minute take the dogs to the park today to my husband soccer game or indoor soccer game and it’s easy to be ready and go

Bought for air transit. They worked. My cats tried to make it not work and did chew some holes through the mesh even though it was really sturdy. Also, one cat stuck his paw out and unzipped enough for a brief escape. And while the backpack shape was convenient to carry them, I had thought I’d lay it on the back for the cats to relax but admittedly the padded board was made for the bottom not the back so that was a little awkward. If we had to do it all over again I’d probably get a traditional style bag but that might be personal preference and ultimately these bags were as described and well made.

I have a 9 pound chihuahua who has severe separation anxiety and doggy cognitive decline that makes it impossible to leave her home alone for any amount of time. She has to go EVERYWHERE with us if nobody is at the house. This backpack allows me to take her into stores; when I wear her on my back most people don’t even notice I have her with me. I also wear her on the front, harnessed and hooked in for safety, on four wheeling trips and hiking. As you can see in the photo, I tuck her in with extra blankets to make her snuggly and she usually spends the whole trip sleeping. I would suggest putting in a small blanket to make your friend more secured in it, especially when wearing it on your back.The straps are VERY comfortable and I like that it has a strap across the chest AND the waist. It takes a lot of the stress off your neck and shoulders. Perfect little pack! I would highly recommend for your smaller pals!!! If I had to do it all over again, this would absolutely be my first pick!!!

Beautiful bag but smaller than dimensions imply
I was looking for a backpack in which I could carry my rigid small animal carrier for walks. My rigid carrier is 8.75 x 8.75. Seems like 11 x 9 would provide plenty of room, right? Not so much. The stated dimensions include the seams, among other problems. The insert that goes into the bottom to keep the backpack rigid is 9.25″ deep by 11.25 at the back and 10.25″ at the front, and you really have to force it in; probably means that it will stay put. However, it turns out the top entrance to this backpack is significantly smaller than the bottom so the listed dimensions aren’t useful. It’s difficult to take a circumference because the top entrance is slanted, but the horizontal space at the top is approximately only 11″ by 6″, or a little smaller and there’s no way my 8.75^2 is going in there.The color is beautiful. The fabric feels nice and there’s only a little bit of new smell. There is foam in the shoulder straps but it seems to be a coarse foam and it crinkles when you squish it. The bag stays mostly upright if you pick it up by the hanging loop above the shoulder straps, and the back has a removable plastic insert so the pack holds it’s form. All pluses. Wish the size had been accurate.

I love this backpack!! It was perfect for my cat when he was small! I would take him literally everywhere in this. Sadly he grew way too fast and no longer fits in the backpack 🙁
