Self warming cat bed/cave definitely keeps them warm
I’m impressed with these cat beds. The cats definitely seem to like them more than a regular pet bed. They must be drawn to the warmth. They seem to be high quality. The cave is well made and has a soft cozy looking inside. I would caution you to look at the sizes. The small had less interior space than imagined. Keep in mind the measurements are the outer dimensions. That being said I would definitely recommend this, especially if you live somewhere with cold winters and have cats that need protection from that cold without use of electricity, etc.

Comfort and cozy
Nice for my kitty on the porch. She does not like to be enclosed but this gives protection from cold with good visibility and quick getaway if needed.

Could be better
The top is kinda lazy and doesn’t stand quite as high as depicted in the thumbnail. Probably too small for my cat, overall. She refuses to use it.

Good quality
Our kitten seems happy with it. He used to curl up in a tight ball at night and I thought he looked cold. Now he seems relaxed. He still sleeps under my arm, or gets under the covers, or sleeps in his new bed. He has choices.You never know what you’re getting on Amazon. The bed I received is well made, includes thick soft layers and a reflective foil bubble layer inside. You can remove the layer for washing. Kneading kitty claws have not harmed the inner layer so far.

Really soft, well-padded, and self-heating
Despite the fact that I must return this because my large-ish (10 lb) senior cat felt it was beneath her to crawl into this smaller-looking tent-like cave bed—I personally thought it was great, and I’m certain that many other cats would love it. It is super soft and has ample padding (unlike so many other beds)—and it has a self-heating pad!!! It was perfect in every way for what I was looking for her (and much cheaper here than at Petco!). However, I’m hoping that a slightly larger version will be made soon for cats like mine that don’t want the top of the bed to touch them (and need this same larger opening). So, more of a cave design than a tent design for my picky cat and this would get 5 stars and not be returned.

Perfect for frightened new kitten
My new 8 week old kitten took to this tented bed immediately. I looked hard for a bed she could feel safe in & that had self warming properties since it would be her first bed away from mom & siblings. This worked out amazingly well. It’s very soft with lots of cushion and was easy to throw in the washer and dryer prior to use. I put a little baby fleece blanket inside as well so she could burrow a little.Now she’s a few weeks older but still loves the bed although sometimes she sleeps on top of it now. She’s roaming and ruling the house now but I’m grateful to have found a high quality bed with just the right qualities to help her transition.Recommend!

Cats LOVE this!
I had purchased the flat rectangle which my cats fought over to use outside in the sun on cool days. So I picked up this one as well. I have a stray that I feed & an indoor cat that goes out in my fenced back yard at times. It gets cold in Colorado & this keeps the cats cuddly warm. No need for a plug in system – I just throw in a back Thermacare to give extra warmth when it gets into single digits and have it in a plastic tub to block the wind. Great product!

Great quality, nice looking, just too small for 17lb Pomsky 🙁 I wish they made a bigger one, I would have definitely ordered the larger size.
