Works well, quiet, and the cats love it.
Love this fountain watering bowl. It’s ceramic surface is easy to clean and should last a long time. I refill it a couple times during the week and thoroughly clean it weekly. The cats love it. Cats don’t have much thirst drive and this seems to make them want to drink water. I found the extra filters available for sale on Amazon and bought them as well. Plenty large enough for 2 cats. It’s far superior to the metal water fountain I had before.

I bought this for my 20-pound cat, who has a knack for knocking over nearly every water dish imaginable, especially when she’s upset or angry. It was frustrating to come home to water all over the floor, so I needed something sturdy enough to withstand her temper. This fountain has been a godsend!It’s a single large ceramic bowl with a separate top, and most of it came pre-assembledā all I had to do was insert the filter, which is small but very effective. It’s incredibly easy to clean, and I love how quiet it is. As someone who suffers from migraines, the silent operation is a huge plus. The quality is excellent, and itās been so reliable that even when my next-door neighbor tried to steal it, I knew it was worth every penny!

Best water fountain style for cats
Big fan of this! So are my cats. Unlike other types of fountain waterers, this one doesn’t make water noise and is available if power goes out. Ceramic is much easier to clean than plastic. The filters and pumps are easy to find and replace. I have a backup pump that has not been needed and many filters to change often.My two cats drink plenty of water from the bubbler at top. I know they don’t like “still” water, but if I am gone all day and the power goes out or the pump dies or they somehow unplug it (anything is possible with these 2), the water is still available to them.It is easy to see the open water level and top it off.This replaced a large waterer where the base held the water and not visible of how much was left. I thought the little “window” showed plenty but it ran dry and burned out the pump, and because the water was pumped to a waterfall and drained back to the base, the boys had no access to water!I am a fan of this cupcake style and so is my sister who had to come check on them while I was out of town overnight. Between this waterer, their gravity feeder and the litter robot, all she had to do was check to make sure they were okay and top off the easy to see water!

Good sturdy cat water fountain
I needed a heavy cat fountain for my mischievous cat who likes dragging fountains and spilling water everywhere. This has done the job for me. The cats like drinking from it and it was easy to assemble. Easy to fill just put the fresh filter water into it. Havenāt changed filters yet so donāt know how that will be. Or cleaning the pump assembly. So far works great for my needs.

Both my cats love this fountain
Easy to clean. The water in the base can still be easiky accessed by pets should the electric go off due to storms. Both my cats, and one is Very picky about water and food, love this fountain. Their water intake has increased by quite a bit. I no longer worry about dehydration or possible kidney problems due to my kitties not drinking enough water.

Both my cats love this fountain. We live in a dry climate and I have struggled to get my cats to drink enough water, to the point where my vet recommended supplements that prompt cats to drink (Iām pretty sure itās just salt powder) and this is with me giving them fresh water every morning and evening. Iām not sure why it took me so long to look for a fountain since I know animals instinctively look for moving water in the wild but gosh they love this thing. I find both of them at this fountain multiple times a day and for long periods of time. Itās very easy to use, I do top it off once every day or two. Itās very quiet. Silent really unless the water level gets sort of low then it makes a strange occasional gurgle drip sound like when your faucet drips (it took me a very long time to figure that out at 2am when I thought my facet was leaking).

Could be a lot better
I have been using this for a few months now. I wanted a ceramic fountain versus plastic. This fountain is difficult to keep clean. There are some parts that are difficult to get to with a scrub brush. Also, once it is clean, it has to be put back together perfectly, not a millimeter off or the pump wonāt work and you have to adjust it.
