Very old, expensive recliner looks new again
I bought a luxury recliner from LazyBoy many years ago when i was an energetic software engineer. It was a great recliner but I was too busy to take care of it properly and soft leather on one of the arms was virtually destroyed by sunlight pouring in through a glass door over several years. As an old fuddy-duddy, I still relax in the chair every night and even tried one of those low cost covers with limited success to help me forget about the chair damage. The old cover barely covered the worn out leather on the arm and constantly needed adjusting. So when I bought this cover, I had low expectations. I could tell as soon as opened the box (delivered a day early) that this was going to be great. First, the color is an exact match for my chair. When I put the left arm cover on the chair, it probably increased the chair value 100 percent. When I put the second cover on the chair, it made the chair look brand new. The arm covers are the perfect size, ridiculously easy to install and, because I got the heavy duty version, are likely to last a long time. I’m surprised how snug the arm covers fit and how much they look exactly like the original. They do not move and they even feel similar to the much more delicate and expensive, original leather. To be honest, I may not put the back and seat covers on because the original leather there is still in good shape. (I don’t have animals that might require a different approach.) So I can’t speak to the the protection value. But I am so much more comfortable in this chair just because the arms look and feel brand new. And that nagging buyer’s remorse on the original chair is gone.

This is fabulous! First, it fit perfectly. I have other covers, and they always fit a bit big. That isn’t a problem, but it does look a little sloppy if you don’t keep up with tucking it in. This has a nice tight fit that rarely has to be adjusted. Second, it really does look like leather. I don’t know how they did it, but it totally fools people until they touch it. Third, it is really soft and comfortable. Forth, it seems pretty durable. I have cats, and they like to scratch or otherwise claw fabrics, and this doesn’t yet seem to be damaged by this. I could not be happier with this cover and am even considering getting additional ones in other colors.

It’s okay. Could be better.
The material is great. Looks really nice as well. However, the cushion part for the seat doesn’t stay, you have to fix it and put it back on every time. It’s super annoying. I’m not sure I’ll be keeping this. It comes in four pieces, one for the whole back, both arm parts and then the seat and recliner part. The one side has a pocket which is nice but mine came ripped, so it’s no use to me. I wasn’t too bothered by that so I left it. However, every time you sit and lean back the seat part comes off so not sure I’ll be keeping it. It looks like it would be easy to clean and the value for your money is great but we need a way to keep the seat portion in place.

Got this for my mother’s recliner. Pros: colour is really nice, fabric seems sturdy, does look like leather, fits really well overall.Cons: My mother has a small/narrow recliner so not a con for her, but this cover fits really tightly, especially the arms, and the footrest piece wouldn’t be long enough for a full sized chair.The measurements are for a bigger more regular sized recliner, so the other comments about fit are correct.Even with the narrower arms, we had to finesse them around quite a bit to get them on and properly fitted (2 person job for sure).But of you have an apartment sized, or one for a shorter person, this is a 5 star product.
