Very cute, but very stretchy for dogs that pull
This harness looks amazing and is very aesthetically pleasing. We got many compliments on it while out. However, our puppy does still try to pull sometimes, and the elastic leash has a tendency to encourage that (plus she wore the elastic out a bit during a weekend event). The elastic around the harness itself would sometimes become loosened because of this, and she slipped yhe harness once because of it. However, this isn’t an issue if your dog does not pull, and the harness & leash are very nice. The faux leather is quite soft, and the buckles are sturdy and easy to use. We still love it and will use the harness at future events, possibly with a sturdy, non-stretchy leash.

This little Yorky mix hates harnesses, but hast to wear them because that’s the safest way to walk a dog. We’ve tried a bunch for him, and he seems to tolerate this VOOCOO harness well, which means it’s comfortable for him!!! The size medium fits this 14 pound guy with a barrel chest. The measurements on the product page are accurate.I’m very glad that the Yorky like this because it is such a luxury item and I love it. It’s made a vegan leather but it’s such a gorgeous quality that it feels like real leather. It’s very soft and supple and has a lot of gifts which I think is why it’s comfortable. The straps are also a soft material with no hard edges so I think that’s comfortable as well. This particular one does up with minimal stuff on the front of his chest which is I think what bothers him.VOOCOO always uses amazing hardware and this set is no exception. The finish on the hardware is beautiful, and adorable, and the mechanisms work like no other brand I’ve tried. The slides on the buckles are so smooth. They’re secure, but you don’t have to pinch in an uncomfortable way to open the buckles. The hardware on the leash is so sturdy yet not overly heavy so it’s OK for a little dog to have on their back.The finish on the hardware is beautiful and durable, and the mechanisms work like no other brand I’ve tried. The slides on the buckles are so smooth. They’re secure, but you don’t have to pinch in an uncomfortable way to open the buckles. The hardware on the leash is so sturdy yet not overly heavy so it’s OK for a little dog to have on their back.The leash on the set has a generous, vegan leather handle, and it is extremely comfortable to hold went on a walk.I chose the toffee colour for this set, which I think is beautiful on its own, it has a very classic and elegant look. I also think that the toffee colour looks absolutely beautiful with the Yorkies natural coloring. It’s just a beautiful set and I’m so happy to be able to use it with one of the dogs.

This harness is really lovely in design and materials. The faux leather is smooth and buttery, and actually holds up surprisingly well to even rough play so far (my dog likes to play wild with her friends). The neck and chest adjustments are also really great and actually fit my basenji girl while still leaving space to actually adjust (usually she’s at one extreme or the other and there’s no room for give). The clasps are also actually metal, nice and sturdy but easy to undo. The little handle on the back is fair sized for the size of the harness and the leather is soft enough that it can be popped up more or less, depending.The d-ring is nice and sturdy, and feels fixed to the harness securely. The leash is also of the same quality design, with a clasp at the front that is “lockable” and secure too. The matching look is also minimalist and modern, which is fun.My only mild critique is that I wish the d-ring on the back was actually at the base of the harness rather than at the top. It’s not the only harness I’ve seen like this, so it’s hardly a unique issue, but I find that when my dog pulls (which she will, inevitably), the d-ring being further forward means that the majority of the pressure of the rest of the harness hits her at the base of her neck/throat, which is about where a collar would cause pressure. My dog has a sensitive throat, so I use harnesses to avoid the choking effect that any other kind of collar basically causes. If the d-ring were further down the back, the pressure distribution would be a little more even across the front straps of the harness, at least from what I can tell.This may not be an issue to you or your dog, and granted, the circumstances in which this actually causes her to briefly choke are uncommon, so I am happy to keep and use this harness, particularly as the weather improves. But I do think it’s something to note, and something I would be interested to see in general from harnesses going forward.Overall, the quality of this set is absolutely there, though, and if you’re in the market for something like this, then I do recommend.

This “VOOCOO Saddle Pet Harness and Leash Set (Toffee, Medium)” is an absolutely gorgeous set, your pet won’t realize how upscale they look, but you will! This harness style isn’t tolerable for every dog, but if the measurements work and it fits, it can make for a much more secure, even safe walking experience.Apart from the aesthetic, it’s a really well made set with high quality materials and hardware. If you have a smaller, lightweight dog, the handle on the saddle makes it easy to physically lift them out of dangerous situations quickly – obviously not appropriate for larger dogs. Another well thought out detail is the reflective stitching on the leash for added safety. While the material is beautiful and supple, the description in some places indicates it’s leather (as well as calling it PU leather) but it’s not genuine leather, I feel genuine leather and “vegan leather” both have their place, I just don’t like misleading advertising.The price ~$120 (~$125 – 5%) is pretty steep for something that gets used (and often times roughly) every day, even a couple times a day. But if it gets properly maintained and kept clean and the quality holds up, this could be a good investment. I’ll add comments in the future if I notice flaws.

This is not going to be comfortable on hikes. So use this when you go shopping and snap some pretty pics!

Love the color toffee. Makes it look like an expensive fashion bag.The 4 metal strap adjusters easily glide to be able to adjust the front and back straps of the harness, while the unique clasp with locksecures the whole harness from the back; makes donning and doffing this easy and to give a good fit.Reflective thread lines the borders of the straps.The H-type design prevents your dog from breaking free and the jerking pressure is distributed away from the neck. Safer.The leash has a stretch-webbing at the distal part giving a sort of leeway to prevent jerking. It’s like a bungee cord. The distal end is a high-quality carabiner with a protective slide collar which adds security from it opening up inadvertently. The proximal end has a leather wrist strap. Keeps you in control.Back handle to conveniently control your dog specially if you are in proximity and need better control, specially when kneeling or stooped down. Located on this is the heavy-duty metal buckle where you attach the leash.Overall, we love it. Elevates the walks with your dog to a different level.
