Fantastic for self-serve dog-wash ultimate pampering situations! 10/10
Objective Data: I have 2 dogs, a Viszla mix and a Goldendoodle. They are both about 50 pounds and I keep the doodle in a relativley short cut. We like to go HAM playing outside, hiking, swimming, etc… I. AM. NOT. A. GROOMER. I have some experience cutting dog hair on an as-needed-for-medical-treatment basis. My doodle has regular grooming appointments with her professionally trained groomer. If I were to even attempt to cut Maggie’s hair, I think my beloved groomer would absolutely Beat The Breaks Off Me!!! The scissors are sharp enough for me to effortlessly trim out a few tiny knots/mats that occasionally manifest under her tail and behind her ears. Outside of that, I simply keep her clean between groomings (haircuts).My favorite way of keeping my dogs clean is using a self-serve dog wash! I take my handy dandy grooming kit b/c I don’t like using the public brushes & combs for a whole host of reasons… but the biggest one being parasites. With this kit, everything goes in with me and everything comes out with me! I love the color scheme because it stands out from the basic tools provided by the shops/facilities. I also love that everything has a place and can be held securely when not in use. The vareity of tools covers all of our grooming needs from teeth to toes!! The grooming glove works great for both wet & dry uses. It’s great for taking the loose hair off while dry. It helps to really thoroughly scrub down through the hair to the skin to get all the dander and dirt swept away! And it’s gentle while being thorough! The soft rubber curry brush does a good job too, I just prefer the glove. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the slicker brush has the little safety/comfort tips on the wire bristles. Without those, I wouldn’t use it on Maggie (doodle). She is very sensitive and doesn’t love being brushed, so I look for ways to minimize negative aspects for her. The nail trimmers work well. The trim guard is handy for preventing cutting to the quick. The nail file is ok. I have a rechargeable grinder that I use instead. The soft-bristle brush is good for my viszla mix for dry-brushing or brushing in a dusting of dry-shampoo between baths. It’s not so great on Maggie’s softer, longer fur. But that’s where the slicker brush and come in perfectly. The handy-dandy carrying case is perfectly sized to carry all the equipment and a few extra essentials!! I can fit my; ear wrap (for when I blow them out), rechargeable grinder, full-size ear flush/wash, full-size probiotic deodorizing spray & toothpaste! If I was going to offer one piece of advice… pack a ziplock bag or other wet-proof bag to prevent the grooming glove from soaking everything else in the kit after bath time! If you forget one, I have had some success with using a towel to assist wringing the glove out (soaking up excess moisture) and then hitting it with the blower for a few minutes.

Absolutely LOVE This All-In-One Dog Grooming Kit
Wow! Such a nice all-in-one kit. Everything in the case feels well made. The case itself is a heav-duty fabric that should hold up for quite some time. The massage brush is a nice heavy rubber, easy to grip, and has tips big enough but gentle enough that both my dogs enjoyed its use. The nail clippers are solid and the included file is a nice touch. Even the scissors did a good job and I appreciated the safety tips since one of my dogs is a biq squirmer when getting her pads trimmed so this keeps both of us from getting poked. My personal favorite piece is the retractable deshedder brush. Click the button on the stem, brush, then click it again and the fur falls gently away! My dog’s fur can build up static during this process and, with other similar tools, the fur would cling to my hands when I tried to remove it. No so with this one. All said, I really like this product and would highly recommend it.
