Skeptical but Giving It a Chance
I’m all for natural flea prevention and avoiding harsh chemicals when possible, but I’m a bit skeptical about this one. The flea shampoo and spray that come with it contain essential oils, which can help repel fleas, and the concentrations are pretty mild, and should be safe for pets, should be.The brass tag is where they lose me a little. It claims to use “BioResonance technology” to create an energy field that repels fleas and ticks. Brass is a decent metal, and it’s used in some components of bioresonance devices, but brass itself isn’t bioresonant to my knowledge. My dog has worn a regular brass tag for years and it never did a thing to keep fleas away, so I’m not sure how this one would be different.That said, I’ll still give it a fair trial. It’s fall, so fleas are naturally slowing down anyway, which might make it hard to tell if it’s really working. If it does anything noticeable, I’ll be surprised (in a good way). For now, I’d say interesting concept, but the science feels thin, we’ll see how it holds up over time.The kit is easy to use and feels more like a trial size. The tag is well made and appears to be engravable. I cannot say that this is a good value for the money due to the small size and questionable effectiveness.

Great and easy natural approaches to combating fleas and ticks.
I have seen these tags advertised and I have tried to do a little research. They work on frequency fields. I have a large frequency machine that I use for health and wellness for myself and my family so I am pretty familiar with the concept.I like that I can put something on my pet to discourage pests from being attracted to them otherwise I have to treat one way or another after the fact.These are also nice because it is so easy to use. Just attach to the collar. No chemicals, liquid drops, sprays, dips etc. The tag is sturdy metal yet it is not heavy. My dog is larger so the tag I recieved fits well for her size. I would have to get a smaller size for my cat.I was going to wait a few months to put it on her thinking it’s getting cool here and I haven’t found a tick on her in several months. Well wouldn’t you know it, I just found a tick about 2 hours ago. So I’m not waiting. The tag is going on her collar as soon as I’m finished writing this review.I only gave it four stars because this has to be on two to four weeks to start to work. They do give you a natural repellent and a natural shampoo to use if you need it until the tags energy field kicks in. I will come back and update in a couple of months as to any ticks or not. This is also the type of thing that may work for one pet and not another. The only way to see is to try it yourself. Sorry I can’t be anymore help on that but it may or may not work for me either. I hope it does and I have heard good things. I prefer natural approaches so I have my fingers crossed and will update when I know.

Convenient, gentle and great value
This dog and cat flea collar tag set is a great deal, especially since it includes an all natural flea and tick shampoo and spray. All three items work well together and have been gentle on my dog’s skin. The collar tag is easy to use, and the added shampoo and spray give extra protection. Just make sure to read the instructions before using. Overall, it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is better protected from fleas.

Repellent Collar? The jury is still out.
This is a Flea & Tick Repellent Collar Tag that uses “BioResonance” Technology. It comes in a kit with Flea & Tick shampoo, Bug Spray and instructions for use.BioResonance Technology is a CONTROVERSIAL alternative therapy that claims to use electromagnetic frequencies to influence biological systems. It’s been adapted into products like flea and tick repellent tags for pets, but its scientific credibility is highly debated. Silicon dioxide particles are often cited in BioResonance flea and tick tags as the medium used to “store” or “encode” electromagnetic frequencies.This tag purports that it emits bioenergetic frequencies to repel pests, provides 24/7 protection without chemicals or batteries, and it is safe for small dogs and puppies over 3 months, and cats. It requires no batteries, and they claim the effectiveness lasts for a year.While the technology is debated, we are adding this to the arsenal of preventatives for our dog. We already use a monthly flea and tick oral medication and a heartworm medication. The material in the tag is inert and safe, so there is no risk in trying it out.We have, occasionally, found dead ticks in our dog’s coat. If there was a way to keep the bugs from even trying to bite our dog, we would like that. If the technology works, we should never find a tick, alive or dead, attached to our dog or in his coat.I remain healthily skeptical about this technology, but I will give it a try. I absolutely DO NOT recommend it as a sole prevention method. Be careful with your cats and dogs – they rely on you for EVERYTHING. Be safe.

A Quiet Little Shield for Pets
This flea and tick repellent tag is simple and feels safer than most options. I clipped it to Joy’s collar and she never noticed it. It is waterproof so it stayed on her during her muddy adventures at Rainbow Roost. It has no smell and caused no irritation. I like the idea of an option that does not rely on chemicals. It is light, easy, and gentle which matters for dogs who live close to the earth like mine do.
