Top-Tier Cat Carrier at a Rock Bottom Price
Our four cats fear our heavy, hard-sided cat carriers. One glance at the “vetmobiles” and off they run. I wondered if a different type of carrier would be less scary for them and easier for us? I saw the DSDCDJ Pawbloom Cat Carrier, Soft at the unbelievable price of $9.99 and thought, what have we got to lose? I didn’t even mind the future delivery date considering the low price.The carrier arrived folded flat in a plastic bag inside a paper mailer. It was obviously new and clean with the pleasant smell of new fabric.Assembly was simple and quick. I just took the carrier out of the plastic; unfolded it; gently zipped up the sides with the double-sided zippers; placed the soft-top (or alternatively woven) panel in the bottom; and attached the removable shoulder strap. The soft-top bottom panel had a removable cover that appeared to be washable.The assembled carrier far exceeded my expectations. It was made of a nice, smooth, padded, nylon-type fabric in a modern muted pink color for the exterior and gray for the interior. It had black nylon zippers that looked like neat black trim, attached black side handles that could be velcroed together and sturdy black mesh panels. The panels, which were at the front, top and one side, opened with double-sided zippers to allow the cat to enter or exit the carrier or the pet parent to see or pet the cat.The stylish carrier looked surprisingly sturdy and comfortable for pets and easy to wipe clean. When my teenager saw it from a distance, she asked if I had gotten a new gym bag. It did look a lot like my bag but at a third of the price.We tried the soft carrier out on all four cats, who ranged in weight from approximately 9 to 14 pounds. Sox, our biggest cat, jumped out immediately while Jasi, our smallest, cautiously stayed in for a few minutes. Lilith walked around the outside, jumped in and then left.But Fifi went in on her own and decided to stay. She really enjoyed the furry bottom panel and tried scratching on the inside wall to mark it. The carrier appeared secure and stable when we picked it up with Fifi inside.The light-weight carrier is a lot easier to lift and store than our bulky hard-sided carriers. At approximately 17″x12″x11″ it appears well sized for air travel.I highly recommend the well-constructed DSDCDJ Pawbloom Soft Pet Carrier for your small pet. The packable, light-weight carrier is an amazing value for the money. The company put a lot of thought and care into the design and details; I really don’t know how the company can manufacture the carrier for such a low price.

Comfortable Soft-Sided Pet Carrier with Good Ventilation and Practical Design

A good get for anyone with a small pet
I wouldnāt have thought this item would be one that I would review, but Iām really impressed with it. I have an outdoor cat and 2 Shi Tzuās, and they all fit in this carrier and even seem to like it. The first dog I put in it made a few circles and just laid down. Mesh on the front, the top, and one side appears to make it good and comfortable for them. Two bottom pads come with it; one is considered a cooling pad and is similar to a door mat, while a second is more like a shag carpet, so nice and soft and it has a zipper and can be removed from a hard inner piece so it can be washed. The materials from top to bottom are of high quality and look as though they will last for a long time. It includes a shoulder strap for carrying, and while itās about 18 inches x 11 x 11, it will collapse down to 18 x 11 x about 3ā for easy storage. With a pet in it, Iām sure it would fit under a seat on a plane. I got this to replace one thatās worn out, and thereās no comparison in the 2 as far as materials, quality, workmanship, and features go. This is just a good get for anyone with a small pet.

Lightweight, Sturdy, and Folds Flat
This is a great carrier to have for short trips and vet visits. It folds completely flat for storage. Which is great if you have limited space. The carrier is very sturdy. I have a 9 lb and a 12 lb cat and each can be carried comfortably inside. The carrier is a little cramped for the 12 lb cat, but if the trip is short, itās not a problem. There are a lot of options for openings. Every mesh window has a zipper to open and close the opening. The zippers are very sturdy, but they are stiff the first couple of times you use them. The seams need to be adjusted to align the zippers, but once you have done that they zip smoothly. The carrier comes with attached handles for carrying like a suitcase, and an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap for carrying it like a shoulder bag. It also comes with removable inserts for the bottom of the carrier. One is a woven mat and the other is a fuzzy fleece cushion. If you are going on a long trip I would recommend something a bit roomier, but for shorter trips this carrier is perfect.

Sturdy Carrier But Zippers Were Stiff.
This is a very comfortable and sturdy cat carrier. It probably could fit two small cats (my cat is about 8 pounds and she has plenty of room!) or one large cat. The floor of the carrier wonāt buckle and itās very comfortable to carry either by the hand straps that velcro together, or by the shoulder strap.One star was removed because I found the zippers very difficult to move, but that may improve with time. I had to just pull the two sides of the fabric to get the zipper unzipped. It could just be the stiffness from being new, but if the zippers donāt run smoothly and fast, it gives an opportunity for the cat to escape.

This is great carrier for my 12 LB cat. If your cat is much bigger than mine, it gets iffy if it will be comfortable for your little buddy. Itās better if the cat is crouching or laying down vs sitting up as the height of this doesnāt allow the cat to sit up very well without hunching a little, but this is likely typical of many carriers unless theyāre oversized which is like the carrier I previously owned. A great feature about this carrier is that you have 4 openings too choose for the cat. This makes it handy if you have a cat that doesn’t want to go inside of the carrier, you may want to pick the wider opening.For the most part, this carrier is well constructed: the netting is strong, the stitching is very well done and secure, the zipper pulls are metal, but the zipper itself is a thicker plastic and zipping all the entry points has been smooth. The hardware is a thick plastic and well secured. The carrier has two carrying options: short handles that are reinforced at the top for carrying, plus an over-the-shoulder strap that has a thinner shoulder pad so that the heaviness of the carrier doesn’t dig into your shoulder. The inside of the carrier material is slick and wipeable, and the outside material is durable with almost a suede like appearance but is actually just a lightly textured thicker material.The fleece covered base that you add inside of the carrier for the cat to sit on, is removeable and unzips when you need to wash it. Inside of this zipper cover is a hard board of PVC (think sign board) plus some thin foam so this makes it mostly washable if you have a cat that has an accident if they get nervous. This inserted base is needed to keep the carrier in its shaped form, and it’s harder than it is soft for the cat to lay on but with the fleece covering it gives the cat some grip when traveling, but I would recommend also adding a light blanket inside for added grip. The extra brown mat that this comes with is a nice touch and can be added for the cat to step onto or you could wrap it around the base pad as it does give a different type of texture for the catsā paws to grip onto.Lastly and importantly, this carrier has 2 upper metal thin rods to help keep the carrier in its square shaped form, along with some softer boning around the carriersā openings and sides. Unfortunately, its just enough and I feel there should be a bit more as the carrier gets a little shifty when my catās inside. Not shifty enough to collapse mind you, but itās not solid. I keep this in mind when Iām travelling so that I donāt sit my cat near something that could fall on the carrier, as it is soft sided and will cave in.Overall, this size is perfect for vet visits and it’s easy to transport and carry. I’m super happy to have this handy and nice-looking carrier.

This soft-sided pet carrier is a great choice for traveling with small to medium pets up to 15 lbs. We were travelling with our pet to take our cat on a road trip for a vet visit. She got into the the carrier no problem and once she was inside she looked very comfortable and very visible so we could keep an eye on her.The carrier consists of three parts, the cat carrier, a shoulder strap and the padded brown bottom which is a nice feature for comfort.Inside, the plush fleece lining creates a cozy resting space, while the included cooling mat is a thoughtful and especially helpful during warmer weather or long trips. Iāve definitely used more premium cat carriers, but this one has some nice benefits. The structure is moderately sturdy. My cats were playing on top of it and were able to nearly flatten it a few times, so the internal support isnāt as strong as some soft carriers Iāve had. That said, the size is excellent for my 12 lb munchkin cat (heās long-bodied for his size), and thereās plenty of ventilation on the top, sides, and front. This should make it more comfortable for double-coated cats who tend to overheat in enclosed carriers.The carrier includes a removable faux lamb wool mat and a cooling mat, which is great for year-round use: the wool keeps pets warm in winter, and the breathable cooling mat keeps them comfortable in summer. The zippers are good, but not great, so I wouldnāt trust it for an escape-artist cat. I also appreciate that itās TSA- and airline-friendly, fits under most cabin seats, and is collapsible for easy storage.The padded top handle and adjustable shoulder strap make carrying comfortable, and the carrier doubles as a sleep bed or indoor safe space. Iām giving it 4 stars because I think itās missing a few key safety features, but for the right cat, itās a functional, well-ventilated carrier that works well for travel or daily use.

This carrier is pretty much as advertised if you are looking for a small pet carrier.It is a bit smaller than I expected (should have read the dimensions)).The inclusion of a small door mat is different, but nice.It all woks as expected, with openings on the front and top, and both short and long carrying handles.My cats will get in it, but it is a tight fit for my larger cat.If you are looking for a carrier for a small cat or dog then this one is pretty good for the price.
