Life Charging
I volunteer at rescue and sometimes I get wild cats, these have made the job so much easier, I can grab them to cut their nails, I can pet them, these have save me from getting seriously scratched during the first few days. I definitely recommend.

Spectacular product
These are spectacular and I am SO glad I added them to my arsenal. I professionally walk dogs, pet sit and do light grooming (nail trims and baths) and have been doing so for a few years now. I bought these specifically for a cat I watch who is quite spicy, but requires insulin twice a day. After many many times getting bit and scratched I was close to having to let them go as clients and these were my last ditch effort. Worked. Like. A. Charm. Try as he might he can’t get through them with teeth or claws. I even secure the gloves with a hair band and then put my hoodie sleeves over them so he can’t get under it either (otherwise he did manage that, but that’s user error not the gloves). Since that success I’ve used them for nippy small dogs during nail trims and baths, and have even bathed my own 4 cats with them (which if you met them, would astonish you).They work just as they should, the price is reasonable, they even hold up to water. This is a must have for anyone with my job or spicy small critters of their own.

Worked for Handling a Smaller Adult Cat
I own a smaller female cat. She despises being handled. I bought these gloves because I wanted to try grooming her at home and, most importantly, trimming her vicious dagger nails.I’m happy to report that these gloves did protect me from both her swats and bites. I’m an adult male with average size hands and the gloves were snug, but ultimately fit. I did find that my ability to manipulate small objects was diminished while wearing them, but this was expected.The gloves seem to be a reasonable size. They fit well enough, and they seem to work well at protecting against scratches and bites. Of course, the pressure from a bite can still be painful, but the gloves protected the skin.Unfortunately, no amount of glove wearing will stop a cat from squirming and wriggling away, so I ended up taking my cat to a professional groomer.At the lower price point these gloves are definitely worth trying if you need to handle a cat with a short temper.

Works well not water proof just resistant
Overall got the job done. One of my cats of turns feral during any type of care like bathes, grooming, nail trimmings. She has drawn blood and I’m became a little fearful to do any of these things for her so it was time to gear up. I got these gloves and her a bathing net bag and helmet. The combo of all 3 items was purrfect! She tried to bite a couple times but gave up when she realized her efforts were wasted. The mesh bathing bag comforted her while the mask and gloves protected me. Eventually the gloves were soaking wet and needed to be rung out while wearing. I chose these gloves for protection and mobility. Soft, durable, fits nicely, work well.

So far so good with my psychotic cat.
We have had about 5 cats at a time for the past almost 30 years. We live on a large expanse of farmland. Now for the first time we have an adult cat that bites. The few that did biting as kittens, we stopped it. This one only bites when she is happily being petted on my lap, purring very loudly. Then without warning, she bites very fast into my hand or above my glove on the skin. Because she does this when she seems happiest, I sometimes refer to her as my psychotic cat.I have had to resort to wearing these gloves to pet her after being bit hard enough to draw blood 3 times which then necessitates getting antibiotics. A cat bite is hazardous. I spend time with her because she is intimidated by the other cats who chase her as I am yelling out NO, NO. The victim always stays put while the aggressor runs off. And she is often even afraid to get petted when the other cats are around. She used to look depressed until I would spend a lot more time petting her, so it is important to pet her, but I can’t keep taking antibiotics.The gloves aren’t soft or fuzzy and are too large to really rub her in a more caring way, but incredibly she loves being petted with them. And she doesn’t attempt to bite me. But if she did, the gloves are very long to protect me. I do wish that these gloves came in a smaller size. And they are stiff. Those are the drawbacks with them, but I couldn’t find anything better for my needy cat.

Bathing a cat of terror
One of my four cats is very weary of people, won’t go near you or even let you pet him, maybe, twice a year you can if you’re lucky! He is 2.5 years old and so sweet though! We had HAD to give him a bath after this years flea issue, and without the gloves, I don’t think I would’ve survived. The gloves helped so much! No scratches, no cuts, not even a nick! The hardest part was chasing him around lol but I’m so glad I got these gloves! I would definitely buy again if needed! They’re also fast to dry!

Not bad, but if you are dealing with a feral cat- they can and will be able to break through biting/scratching you.

Wij gebruiken deze om(wilde) katten te pakken. Deze handschoenen zijn niet zo stug en daardoor veel handzamer en beweeglijker om een dier vast te pakken. Als een wilde kat echt doorbijt voel je het wel en krijg je een knijpblaar, maar de tandjes gaan er (tot nog toe) niet doorheen. Aanrader.
