My cat Emma lives on this thing. It can automatically turn off but, for better or worse I leave it on “ON” (all the time) because Emma keeps climbing back onto it. I put a towel on it because I picture that being slightly more comfortable and I find it is easier to clean than the provided “sack” – I have washed it & it came out fine but I have to unzipper it to remove the electronics. A towel I just pick up and put down a new one. The pad itself? Great. Max heat not too hot, settings are convenient to set. Mostly set and forget.

Excellent heating pad!
We are quarantining and acclimating a local stray cat into our household. For the time being, he’s the King of the Sunroom until we can incorporate him into our household of 2 other cats. Because it can get chilly where we’re at, we bought this heating mat to supplement a room heater and other blankets we’ve set up for him (yeah…we spoil our pets). We got the 18″x18″ version and found it was a good size for a full grown cat of 11 lbs to stretch out on. If you have a chonky cat or a dog, I’d suggest getting a bigger size.The mat works perfectly, and is super easy to program. I love the fact that the timer can go up to 24 hours so it won’t turn off during the night (we remember to check right before bedtime). I also like that you can alter the temperature of the mat depending on the ambient temp of the room. While it’s not floofy and soft as other mats can be, the tradeoff is that this mat is really easy to clean with just a little dustbroom – and some cats just aren’t into fluffy, especially if they’re used to the outdoors. The cover also comes off for cleaning in case there’s an accident or other issue. Setting a soft blanket on top of this creates a cocoon of warmth that keeps our cat comfortable on the chilliest nights. The cord is wrapped with a chew resistant cover and will stretch about 10 feet across the room.Though we’re using this for a full-grown cat, I also think this would be great for other fur-babies (kittens, puppies, rabbits, etc. – but be super careful of the temp!!).

Decently warm, but a bit thin
My cats are quite long, so I got the 28×18 inch version. They can stretch out on it without any limbs hanging off. The fabric is soft but a little bit thin. I put a thin blanket on it so the cats can shed all over that instead of the pad itself. The heat probably won’t go through plusher blankets.I usually turn up the temperature to the max before I take my evening shower, and by the time I step out, sometimes one of the cats would be spread out on it, snoozing. That said though, they don’t stay on there long before moving to my bed for another cat bed, even though the pad is warm enough. I guess they prefer a cushier surface.Easy to control though, and seems reliable!

Bought for our goat-he loves it!
Best heating pad for animals. Bought for our special needs fainting goat. Multiple heat settings, 24 hr timer. We slid it inside the cover of a large dog bed and little Dewey is happy and warm in the unheated barn. Quality made with protected cord that resists chewing although the goat doesn’t mess with it. Nice cover that has held up for over a year. I can say with conviction, the little goat loves his warm bed now!

Quality product
Quality product for the price. My cat is not crazy about it though and actively avoids it sometimes. Cats can be fickle though. The product works as advertised and is a solid deal. Seems to be durable as well.

This is worked incredibly well for my outside kitties the option of different times to use in the timer is a great feature and is able to stay on and keep my kitty cats nice and warm the temperature range is also very diverseIt was the perfect size to fit into my cat shelter it was very soft and they love to lay on it they get great sleep being comfy

Great heating pad, unfortunate design
My cats and dogs love this thing, it works great, the timer’s awesome, and we love it. It’s covered in swastikas. I’m sure it’s just an unfortunate design flaw, but the entire thing is covered in swastikas.

My pets love these. Hey stay on permanently and I have one indoor for my senior cats and one in an outdoor cat hut. The cover is nice and it has a range of temperatures. Itās worked for a full year.
