For easy installation, the frame must be smaller than the fabric cover, causing looseness. To prevent looseness, the frame must match the fabric cover, making installation difficult. Therefore, we designed an adjustable-length spiral frame.
How to enhance the durability of portable dog crates?
After long-term use or machine washing, fabrics may lose elasticity. Our soft-sided dog crates can be tightened by adjusting the frame length, reducing the frequency of fabric cover replacements.

Lightweight, Comfortable, and Perfect for Road Trips
We purchased the Petsfit collapsible kennel for our dog, Lolly, and it has been exactly what we were hoping for. It is very lightweight, yet sturdy, and extremely easy to set up and take down—perfect for traveling.We originally wanted something to replace her hard plastic kennel, which requires unscrewing bolts and reassembling every time we travel. This kennel eliminates all of that hassle. It opens and folds down quickly with no tools, making it far more convenient.We have also used it in the backseat of the car, and Lolly travels very well in it. We placed a standard dog pillow in the bottom for extra comfort, and she still has plenty of room to move and relax.Overall, this kennel is sturdy, portable, and thoughtfully designed. It has made traveling with our dog much easier, and we would absolutely recommend it to other pet owners looking for a practical and comfortable travel kennel.

Edited 11/17/24 – 180 DO RECOMMEND! Not chewproof
As noted this is an updated and edited review: the seller reached out to us after the initial review and sent us a replacement for free – but frankly we wanted to wait and use the product for a stretch before updating this review. There was no point in retracting what was true before if we couldn’t attest that it was, in fact, a one time fluke. We can confidently now say it was and this product is fantastic. We’ve used it three times for traveling and once for a quick fix when we needed to crate our dog and didn’t feel like moving his crate from the lower level. It’s still going strong and since we’ve been able to use it multiple times, all the features we listed in our original review have been very helpful and enhance the user experience for the better! Our dog is very comfortable and content in it, the frame and fabric are still in good shape with no bending or sagging, the zippers don’t tug at all, and it’s easy to clean inside and out. If you have a dog that is already crate trained, you could easily replace a standard metal crate with this; and if you have a dog that prefers their metal crate covered or secluded for that den-like experience, this would be a great option especially for the price. We plan on ordering a second one within the year just to have a back up on hand should we ever have a need for it. All in all, it’s a good product, they provided good customer service, and we do recommend this crate.This has all the makings of being a fantastic crate, but it is not chewproof unfortunately. It took less than a few hours for the front facing zipper to be fully chewed through and this isn’t by a large or particularly chew-loving dog. The zipper is plastic and the teeth were bent out. Once that happened, it was a done deal. We bought this to travel with and missed our return window, otherwise we would have given it one more shot because of all the features we did love (durable fabric, easy to assemble and transport, attractive design, multiple entry points) and hoped we just got a fluke.

Great product, well-constructed
The Petsfit large collapsible dog crate is a great product with lots of front and side ventilation. However, while the Amazon Basics crate doesn’t have as much side ventilation, it is easier to set up.

Love this product. The zipper ripped and they sent me a new one.
This crate was recommended by 2 of our friends with dogs. It is super light and portable, and the dark screen made our dog feel secure inside. It is quick and easy to set up and folds up nicely for storage and transport. The zipper track on ours ripped when our dog came running out of the crate when letting him out. The crate is not really usable when this happens. The company was great and refunded us even though it was after our return period. The process was easy to get a refund and we are very grateful for them being so generous. It is worth 5 stars if our first one hadn’t gotten a small tear. We are getting another one with the refunded money. If you get it, make sure your dog won’t try to break out when being zipped in or out.

Bad customer service, low quality.
Company is unhelpful, product is poorly constructed. Used maybe a total of 5 days in first month’s of ownership. Dog came home from surgery (leg amputation from bone cancer). 20 pound dog on one rear leg and on sleep medication tore zipper away from tip panel. Company would not honor return policy because I contacted them in month 11 of ownership. By the time they did respond they said the 12 month return policy had lapsed.

Perfect for Puppy Bedtime
I bought this crate, specifically, so I could enclose my puppy at night, on top of my large bed that I also sleep in, and she wouldn’t be able to run around. It is perfect for this! It’s lightweight, and easy to move around, and it allows my puppy to enjoy the comfort of my mattress because the crate has a soft bottom. I guess you would say, I’m using it as a place for my puppy to sleep right next to me, without being able to fall off my bed, or mistakenly potty on my bed. I have a little Shih Tzu, so she has lots of room in this size crate. I love it, plus, it can collapse and be used someplace else, as well.

This dog crate only lasted for three uses of one hour each in 15 days. My dog has been using crates for 4 years so that wasn’t the problem. The mesh on the crate had many holes in it and the mesh was tearing away from the sewn sides. There are many more holes than in the photos posted. This mesh material used on the crate is not fit for purpose. I tried contacting Petsfit directly as they asked via three separate emails but I didn’t receive any responses. I am not satisfied; this product is faulty and not made with materials for its purpose. I can’t use the crate with holes for fear the material will continue to rip and tear away resulting in my dog escaping.

We bought this for our spoiled cat. He now travels in luxury with plenty of room to move around including a small litter box we added for security. I cut a piece of carpet to fit so we can remove it for cleaning/vacuuming etc and to provide a bit of stiffness to the base. The carry handles are plenty strong for lifting & carrying with both he and the litter box in it. It’s been a great addition for us when we travel with him.
