Perfect for my particular dog
Bought the M/L size for my 38# Aussie Shepard Mix. Not sure what she’s mixed with but she has a full, bulky front chest with a lot of extra skin and a little, pointy head. I found she needed a harness with more adjustability than most provided. The models that had this feature were too wide in the panels thus making them hot. My dog has black fur closer to a Shiba Inu’s than to an Aussie Shepard. She quickly gets very hot in the sun and is a senior rescue dog so it was important to have a reliable harness that wouldn’t cause any health stresses. I spent a lot of time trying to find a cheaper harness but finally folded and bought this pricier one. I’m relieved to say it’s been perfect so far. Very well made without being bulky at all. The adjustment straps are not too hard to adjust nor too easy/loose. The padded areas aren’t too thin, thick or wide. I was able to adjust the collar straps around the neck, the body straps around the central area behind her legs and the strap running underneath from the collar bottom to the underside of the body straps. Thanks to the adequately long adjustable strap running from the bottom of the collar to the underbody point in the body band, the body band isn’t right behind her front legs causing painful rubbing. She’s very happy to have me put this harness on for a walk and she stays happily comfortable the whole time. Fits her perfectly, stays central on her body once I got the straps adjusted correctly. That took a bit of effort because there’s one adjustment strap on each side of the collar and the body so you need to get both sides equidistant from the center. Has an adequately strong handle on top of the back if needed but not too obtrusive. Rings on the front and the back to choose from for attaching the leash. Unlike my prior dogs who pulled on the leash until I trained them with the help of a no-pull harness, this herding dog stays right by me almost all the time so I needed a new harness with a top ring for the leash to avoid her walking over it. She doesn’t pull so I can’t comment on how well this works for that problem nor has she tried to get out of the harness such as by trying to back out if it. I wouldn’t need it at all except I live in a semi rural area where it’s not rare to encounter roaming dogs plus we have coyotes living nearby. I wanted a harness for better control over her if needed in an emergency, including that will help me to quickly lift her up into my arms. I’ll edit my review if anything changes but so far little Sammie and I are very happy with this harness.Update:Have been using this for several weeks now. My dog likes to flip onto her back on the asphalt road and wriggle like she’s itching her back. I don’t think her back itches because she doesn’t show discomfort during the walk. She only does it when I stop to talk to neighbors. This halter has surprisingly held up great to that abuse. She gained a little weight and I was still able to re-adjust the straps without too much difficulty or too much ease, as it should be. The buckles hold the straps well in place without loosening over time. The snap latches are plastic but seem very sturdy. They’re not too hard or too easy to snap into and out of. I’m still very, very pleased with this product. One thing I really hate is to pay extra for a nicer product and then have it disappoint me which happens too often. So I like to show my appreciation when a product is really good. Regarding backing out of this halter, my dog could do that with effort if I just held onto the halter. It’s harder for her to slip out of than other halters I’ve had with other dogs but if that’s a common problem with your dog, I’d find another halter configuration than this one.

Works well for my strong puller
Excellent harness. The only one my JR hasn’t escaped from after trying 11 other harnesses. I like the front ring because it stops her pulling during walks. And I can adjust the neck and belly strap so she can’t back out.

Great quality.
This is a great quality product. However, I would urge the company to not have it as a slip over the head harness. It would be better fitting if the top straps were to clip on and off from each other like the one that fits across the abdomen. I would also suggest making the martingale (chest ring), to be a little higher up on the chest for shorter dogs. Our little girl is short and she trips over it and we have to clip the leash on the back, which promotes pulling unfortunately

Harness vs gentle leader
Context: I have a big dog who is all muscle and very reactive towards other dogs on walks. He won’t bite but just gets way too excited. We use a gentle leader to reduce his pulling strength which works well but unfortunately he’s developed an habit of biting the leash when he sees other dogs. Otherwise a calm dog when off leash and not aggressive, just leash reactive. But we need to be safe for him and my family while on walks because he’s pulled us down flat on the asphalt before when just using a collar leash. Pros: when walking, it does what it says, no pull. My dog walks beside me and keeps a nice easy pace.Cons: when my dog sees another dogs and is trying to lunge, it takes all of my strength to keep him back even when using the double lease on the front and back. My hands were red and raw, so don’t expect the pulling strength of your dog to be decreased as compared to a gentle leader.The size of the harness is slightly loose on my 70lb sheepdog even though I measured him and adjusted the harness to be tighter. Also the first one I got clearly was used and had golden retriever fur on it. Had to get a replacement which was new. I could see this work great on a middle sized dog, but if your dog is anything like mine and you lack the strength to keep them at bay then this might not be for you. I will have to stick to the gentle leader for most walks but I am keeping this harness for times when I know I can avoid other dogs because I do like how it makes him walk with me and not drag me around like he does with the gentle leader. No product is perfect with him unfortunately.

Game changer
We have a 2 1/2 year-old Australian Shepherd. He’s very active and likes to pull us when we go for a walk. With a collar and leash, he would be choking himself because he was pulling so hard. I saw this online and bought it. First time we used it The difference was amazing. He didn’t pull at all. As soon as he would start to pull just a little bit with the leash connected to the ring on the harness by his chest, it would pull his front back just enough and he would immediately stop and then start walking more slow slowly. I wish I had seen this two years ago. This was by far the best walk we have ever had with him

Good harness
Didn’t arrive in time so canceled and returned this one but purchased same one from local retailer. Paid more for the one we have but it was here in time for our trip.Good harness and does help with the pulling. Fit is a little bit bigger than I expected but she is a growing girl and will fill out the chest soon so I won’t have to adjust it to go over her head and then tighten it before we walk.

I had your easy walk harness and its great for no pull but she chewed through it. I thought I would try this but the sizing was way too small despite me measuring her correctly.I have purchased another easy walk no pull. Its the best one out of the 4 harnesses I’ve tried. Now if only one of you manufacturers could make a harness that cantbe chewed on in the time it takes to put a jacket on.
