Great stuff!
Great stuff!, I tried everything to help my goldies horrible, itchy, raw, hairless skin, bag balm, toms mite wash (peroxide and borax) allergy pills, grain/corn free food etc, you name it I did it and she did get some relief from all of that however as soon as I stopped she would be at it again scratching, ripping her hair and skin out. So I bought this stuff on a wim and it has been nothing but miraculous, from the first bath, she no longer itches, scratches and her skin has healed up and she has a full coat again :), she has been so miserable for so long I am happy I was able to get her back on her feet. I bath her once a week and that seems to be enough, food is still no grain/corn as with treats and this seems to have cleared her up nicely. Good stuff, defiantly recommend for your pooch.

Smells good and it works!
My dog has super sensitive skin. We even took him to a dermatologist. Their shampoo did not help, and we had to give him a bath almost three times a week. This shampoo works great. I also use it on my other dog. They are both German Shepherds, so they have tons of issues. When I bathe them with this shampoo, they do not scratch and naw at themselves for days. It also makes them smell great. This shampoo used to be sold at Kmart, but there aren’t too many around anymore, and stores don’t carry it. Thank God for Amazon! The hot spot ointment by these people is great too! I promise you should give this a try if you are ready to give up hope that your poor dog will ever stop being miserable. YOu can’t beat the price either!

Gave some relief and soft fur, but strong smell
My dog has bad allergies, resulting in excessive licking and bad hot spots. This shampoo lathered up well, squeezed great out of the bottle (which is important if your dog is like mine and is not the biggest fan of baths), and really scrubbed the dirt off of his coat. 2 weeks later, his fur still is super soft and silky as well, which is crazy from what it was like before.However, it has a very strong, medicinal smell. If you are sensitive to smells, be aware that it sticks for a while. His coat is still silky, but when I go in for a hug I can still smell it, though it is not too strong to be super bothersome. However, I did make the mistake of washing my towels with his, and that smell would not go away until it was washed another two times.This product is great if your dog has itchy, dry skin all-over. If it is only bothersome in a particular spot, I would maybe try some medicated wipes first if you’re not a fan of strong scents.

The Last Shampoo You’ll Ever Get
So here I am, it’s 2:14am, and I’m thinking about this dog shampoo like it’s an ex I should have married.I’ve committed to two corgis, but I used to foster all sorts of dogs. Sweet, flaky, itchy little gremlins who looked like they rolled in sadness and then sprinkled themselves with dandruff for texture. My house smelled like fear and hot spots. My couch? A crime scene of fur, skin flakes, and regret.Then I found this shampoo.Look, I didn’t expect much. I’ve been hurt before. But after just a few baths? These dogs were soft. Like, angel-cloud-sleeping-on-a-fresh-bag-of-marshmallows soft. Dandruff? Gone. Itchiness? Canceled. Suddenly, I’m not Googling “dog eczema home remedies” at 3am while a “lab-pit” mix uses my thigh as a scratching post.The smell? Eh. It doesn’t scream “spa day” or “walked through a meadow of vanilla blossoms,” but it also doesn’t smell like wet fur stew. It’s just shampoo. Neutral. Which honestly makes me trust it more. If it smelled like a tropical fruit salad, I’d be suspicious.I don’t even look at other shampoos now. This is The One. We’ve built a life together. My dogs don’t flake. I don’t cry. It’s peace. Works on my GSD. She smelled so bad…like a mixture of rotten milk, and fish! And it happened every summer. she is a pool swimmer and realized that dogs with double coats need to be dried well. We use to just let her shake it off thinkig the hot summer weather would dry her off naturally but I was wrong. Moisutre would get in between the furs then turn into mold, yeast and then allergies. Her skin would dry and she would ictch then the smell would form. This took every thing off in a good wash and wait then rinse well after 5-7 minutes of it on her. I don’t take her to the vet as the vet couldn’t even figure it out (or he just wanted me to return for $$). No more vet bills now! We solved the issue.

Wasn’t as long lasting as anticipated
I tried this product for my dog after noticing she was dealing with flaky skin here and there. It helped reduce her flakiness to some extent, however, I didn’t see the dramatic improvement I was hoping for. I had to use it frequently to keep the flakes at bay, which made me wonder if it was truly addressing the underlying issue or temporarily masking it. The bottle is also on the smaller side, but my dog is larger, so I went through the bottle rather quickly. This product would help with regular maintenance and minor skin issues, but you may need something more specific for dogs with different skin issues.

I used this product on my schnauzer mix for 17 years. She passed and I have two full bred schnauzers now. One started getting little bumps on her back and in researching a solution to the issue I was reminded of this product. Ordered it and it resolved the little bumps after only one shampoo. It’s the best!
