Heaven sent training/safety tool
Great product!!! Highly recommend it for training & control!I’m 80 y.o. my GSD is 14mo @70lbs. She does great when there’s no distraction. A rabbit crossed in her path, she pulled me on my face. No broken bones but thankful help was near. I COULD NOT HOLD or control her. Period, full Stop! I love my furbaby, but I needed a solution fast. Trainer friend introduced me to training prong collars. It changed her pattern immediately. I am in total & complete control at all times.YES, we had another distraction event…but I could control and manage the situation with no problem.I’m a small woman, she’s large and all muscle, but now I’m in control!It’s easy on & off. Only worn during walks.Great value & fantastic quality for the cost. Keep you & you furbaby safe.

Looks like a torture device, but itās actually more gentle than a regular collar & works wonders
I had seen prong type collars before, but I always thought they looked very inhumane. However, after working with a dog trainer, at her recommendation, I temporality put aside my apprehension based on her professional opinion and gave one a try. It worked so well, and required so little force or effort, as opposed to a huge amount of both when trying to control my dog with a regular type collar. I hated before using a prong collar how much strain and tension was on my poor dogās neck when trying to walk with her, but that was eliminated when using this type of collar. I found that while it needs to be snug, if certainly doesnāt have to be tight, just like with a standard collar, and my dog actually looks forward to putting hers on now because she knows it means weāre going out. This is not the collar I have for my dog. Mineās a girl, and she has a cute gold one. But I found myself needing to watch my brotherās dog for a week, a 90lb lab, without a lot of training, and on day one it became very apparent that a regular collar was just not going to work. That first day it was an excruciating tug of war just to walk around the front yard. I ordered this right away. I knew heād like the black and silver colors, and I thought the removable, (and washable) cover was a nice feature. Luckily it arrived the next day, and the rest of the dog sitting week was much better for me and his dog. Just like mine, his dog was immediately far better at not pulling with this on, and requiring a mere fration of the effort to do so. They look like theyād be very uncomfortable, but the dogs really donāt seem to mind having them on. They donāt whine, nip at, or try to get them off. I can understand if you look at this, and think it looks terrible to use, I understand because I too felt like that, until I used one, and realized how much less stress on the dogās neck this is, and how quickly they become accustomed to it and how effective they are. After returning his dog, heās been continuing to use the collar, also with great results. Give it a try, just donāt put it on too tight, and donāt pull too hard, as itās not at all necessary. I think youāll be happier and your little friend wonāt have a sprained neck.

Good quality, pretty color
The sturdiness and attention to detail is very much appreciated. The addition of the prong covers is a really great touch. It is easily adjusted to fit around my growing pups head. The only thing is that it looks incredibly bulky around her neck (and she is a big girl almost pushing 90 pounds at 2 years old). Besides the bulk, I love that the pretty color attempts to mask the fact that it is a prong collar. Many people would see me walking her with our old one and automatically assume she was vicious and make judgements or give dirty looks. She is not at all aggressive towards people or animals, however – she is a stubborn bully that pulls and does not listen unless the prong collar is on. This particular collar helps shield her from any judgement before they actually get to know her. It is pretty and comes at a great price point.

Game changer
What a game changer! My Australian Sheppard has a lot of energy and would pull on the leash a lot. No matter how hard I would pull back she kept on pulling forward. This prong collard though! On the first walk, my dog did not pull as much. Instant change in behavior without me having to say anything

Great product if you have a brat that likes to pull
Wrong collars are always my last resort. When my three month old puppy was already pulling me over and making me fall down in the driveway for my safety as well as her something had to give. I could not risk her getting loose and running off and getting hit, but I couldnāt have me constantly getting pulled over either.This collar has been amazing. I also like that it has the regular collar look to where the prongs do not easily disconnect from each other like Iāve had with a couple other prong collars.It is easy to adjust the size by teaching the songs and pushing them out of position in order to remove links. Due to the discomfort of the prongs, when the dog is pulling, it naturally encourages them to slow down and not cool and leave a little slack in the lead. Pending on your training method you may have to untrained yourself so that you do not harm your dog and allow them to self train with the new collar.I personally will always prefer to use a harness, but unfortunately, having a stubborn husky does not allow that, and as you can imagine, putting a harness on a husky equals pullingā¦ most trainers will have you pull back or correct the dog but I have tried multiple things and this call is the only thing that works, but I did have to retrain myself to not pull back when she starts to pull to let her pull to her discomfort and make her self correct herself.

Get one! It will change your walks on dogs!
Dogs used to pull us down. Now have realized they can’t do this anymore. I have long coated collies and this has their demeanor changed when walking. I put on them ONLY for walks and they now know they have no choice
