Great for the right pet, but not as adjustable as claimed
This is a cute set of two harnesses and leashes, in different colors. As far as appearance goes, they are really cute with their little bow ties. The material is firm.I originally got these for my rats. My rats are two mature ladies long past adolescence, and these harnesses do not fit them. I imagine you’d have to have a very large rat for these to work. My hope was that this would work for keeping one of my rats from reaching her stitches after a surgery, but alas, it didn’t work at all.So next we grabbed my son’s ferrets. This fits the larger male ferret perfectly. While it fit the female ferret, she was able to slip out of it within a few minutes.So these do work, but they are not as adjustable as the listing claims. Ferrets and guinea pigs are probably the only animals that these will fit. It did not work for my rats, and I can’t imagine that there are hamsters large enough. So while they do work well for the right animal, they are not as versatile as I expected them to be.

Did Not Fit My Guinea Pigs as Expected
I purchased these harnesses for my guinea pigs hoping to use them for short, supervised outings. Unfortunately, they did not work for us. My guinea pigs are on the larger side, and the harnesses did not fit them properly despite being advertised as adjustable.The main issue was the sizing and the velcro. Even when adjusted as much as possible, the harnesses were too small and the velcro was not strong enough to stay secure around their bodies. Because of that, the harnesses felt unreliable and not safe to use.The material itself is soft and lightweight, but the fit is very limited. These may work better for much smaller animals, but for adult or larger guinea pigs, they were not usable in our experience.
