The navy gingham print is classic and stylish—perfect for both male and female dogs—and it gives off a polished, preppy look without being too flashy. The gold-tone hardware adds a nice touch of elegance, and the little spade charm is a cute bonus!I was initially concerned about the plastic buckle, but it’s thick, secure, and clicks firmly in place, so I feel confident using it for everyday wear. My 7 year old miniature schnauzer doesn’t like to wear collars that often, except for walks, but this one she likes. The quality is great, and we recently got the collar dirty, and I used a drop of Dawn and warm water and the collar looked brand new again. Looks great, and it was better than I expected.

Piece of CRAP!!!
I have been a die hard Kate Spade fan for a long time and was thrilled to see dog collars so I ordered one for my beloved pup for a Christmas present. We have used it off and on since. It seemed to be of good quality, or so I thought! Tonight while I was walking my dog, we came up on 2 very aggressive little dogs and the minute I tried to get my pup to heel, she pulled toward the 2 dogs and the collar latch completely let go and came unsnapped!! This left me shocked and in one hell of a bind. Thank god the owner grabbed her 2 dogs and I was able to get my dog away from them. Upon further inspection, the latch now doesn’t even hold and I can pull it open with very little effort!! Less than 3 months and it is now in the trash!! Thanks Kate Spade for making a piece of crap. My advise for anyone thinking of buying this…DON’T!! Spend your money on one made by a reputable company that makes STURDY collars! This could have turned out VERY BAD had it been a large, agressive dog!! Stick to handbags, Kate Spade!! Very disappointed in the quality of this thing!!
