Cute Waterproof Dog Raincoat
We have used this both in the snow and in the rain. My dog weighs about 55 lbs and I got the XX Large. It fits him well and it’s easy to put on. It buttons around his neck and there is a strap that goes around his midsection. There are also elastic straps that go around his hind legs. The jacket stays in place nicely and he does not mind wearing it. We have a harness, so we just put that on first and put the rain jacket on over it. The opening on the back of the rain jacket is in the perfect spot to attach the leash to the loop on the harness. The jacket also has cute pockets on both sides. The bone detail on the pockets is reflective, as is the trim around the visor. The clear visor allows for coverage over his head and the ability for him to see. It keeps the top side of him dry, but his legs and underside still get wet, which was expected as those areas are not covered.

The hood works very well
Perfect for my dog! She refuses to go outside if she’s getting rained on, and this lets her keep her head dry without blocking her vision. The hood stays up on her head very well. I also appreciate the visibility it gives her in low light. It’s also very easy to put on my dog (though she’s very patient already).This raincoat has no insulation. I think that’s a good thing because it means I can use it during a summer rain or have my dog wear a sweater under it if the weather is also cold. It also means that dogs with different kinds of fur can both use it.My only 2 design suggestions: a small piece of velcro on the back and on the hood to help keep the hood down when it’s not actively raining, and a loop to let me hang up the raincoat to dry. That said, I think it works well for the price that it is.A note on size: my dog is a bit long in the torso so I went with the larger of the sizes that might have worked for her. If you are deciding between sizes of raincoat for your dog, I’d recommend you do the same as it worked well for me

Fits well, Good quality, Cute
Overall, the raincoat does works well. The material lightweight, flexible, and waterproof. My dog had used it 2 times in light to medium rain. It had kept her dry in the top. My dog has odd proportions. She is very broad, long, and short. She is mixed with dachshund, so I was worried about the length, but it worked out. I was able to put the straps on her hind legs, but I noticed she oddly kept skipping and running during the walk, and towards the end of the walk she started to nibble on them, so I took them off and she acted normally. The Velcro body strap was enough to secure it for me. The elastics do add stability, so I would use them in windy conditions. The only issue I have is with the leash connection hole. For my use, it was too far back to reach her collar. This could be due to the length of my dog. I wish they made the hole accessible on both ends of the leash cover flap. The hood stays put unless she shakes, and she can see out of the visor well. Her movements do not seem restricted, and she had received compliments already.

Water resistant NOT waterproof!My girl was soaked within 5mins during a Heavy rain storm. Though it fits well and the visor was great allowong her to see it did not keep her dry at all. It has no liner very thin material, would work great for lite rain

Excellent for summer rain
It fitted perfectly: it is an almost big size dauch. Excellent for rainy warm days -it is thin and comformtable not for cold weather. It was really a game changer sin Ru (the Dauch) didn’t want to go out in the rain, this way he does!! Highly recommended: it is big and light! excellent for summer rain!

Have a 22lbs mini Sheltie, hates water, doesn’t know she’s a dog, and gets car seats and furniture wet after rain. This fits her perfectly, only parts exposed are the tip of her nose and her tail. Does get dirty easily, but washes off with a good hoosing.

Excellent rain coat – but does come up short in the body length, went a size up, then fitted well but the hood was rather big for our little spaniel, not an issue I just folded it back and put a couple of stay stitches in until the summer when I will look at cutting to fit. I also unpicked the flap where the harness buckle comes through, we found it a bit tight for her harness/lead/light, but with it unpicked it still works well. Modifications I may make in the summer/or suggest – smaller hood (too wide), and needs a method of pinning back, a wider/shorter tummy strap and some better leg straps, but for the cost, it keeps her dry.

This raincoat is fantastic! With his old raincoat, my dog would just stand still every time the hood went over his face, but because he can see through this one, he continues walking and the top of his head stays dry. The elastics to keep the coat on his back are adjustable, so those are great, too! Overall, very happy with this raincoat!

Outer material is cotton with a undercoat of waterproofing. Nice big hood covers entire head and face with a window panel to look out, nice elastic straps on back legs and I have an overweight jug but the L fitted perfectly. Overall a good product. Worth the money. Haven’t been out in rain yet but soon. Good sturdy velcro parts. And a popper button neck area that’s nicely sitting around the neck.
