Good leash for daily walks
I use this TUG retractable leash with my 48 lb dog and it’s been working well so far. It feels strong and the grip is comfortable, even on longer walks. The leash extends and retracts smoothly without tangling.My dog can pull at times, and it still holds up fine. The only small thing is that it feels a bit bulky in hand at first, but you get used to it quickly. Overall, a solid leash for everyday use

Best leash so far with 360° Tangle-Free Retraction. the 16 Ft tape is strong yet extend so easily to very long. My doc can walk further out but still under my easy grip. I Would recommend to every Dog parent.

Good but a bit loud for my pup
I like this leash. It’s cute and comfortable in the hands. The only issue I have is the sound. My dog is hyper aware of sounds and the sound of the leash going in and out scares her. It is a bit loud and obnoxious when they’re hyper. Overall it’s a good leash.

Good Quality Dog Leash
I love these, I got two in the medium size and I’ve used them everyday for my two smaller, 40-45 pound dogs. I’ve been interested in getting a retractable leash for the convenience ever since I got my first dog six years ago but I heard they’re unsafe and have been told not to get one. However, I haven’t had any issues with these. The medium size feels secure for my smaller dogs, but I can’t speak for larger dogs that pull very hard.The quality is great and I really like the brake and the lock, it makes it easier to “steer” them when they try to go the wrong way around a tree or start veering off into the road. It’s also good for training; if one starts pulling a lot or acting too wild I can shorten the lead until they stop. The 16’ length is also good, it gives them a plenty of freedom but also feels safe. I also really like the cream color, it’s simple and goes with most collars and harnesses.

I’m using this to tether train my Maine Coon. He tends to guard the water fountain and litter box when my DSH wants to use them. He’s not trying to stop her; he just wants to be close while she uses them and she’s not a fan.He was a bit leery of it to begin with as you can tell in the picture. He wasn’t used to being tethered, obviously, and wasn’t used to the noise of the leash pulling and retracting. I just ended up leaving it where I know he loves to nap and eventually it no longer bothered him and he roams around like it’s not even there.I’ve been putting a harness on him and attaching him to the retractable leash. I let him move around the apartment, and the length of the leash is perfect for him to go wherever he wants to in the living room. If my girlie gets up like she wants to move around, I click it to hold the leash so he can’t get near her. I’m hoping in time, he’ll get the idea and leave her alone. I’m already seeing a bit of a change. He’ll start to follow her but then sit down a fair distance away and look at me as if to say, I’m not supposed to follow her, am I? He’ll still head to her though, if he knows I’m not watching him closely. He is learning though.I had never considered using a retractable leash, I was of the mind they’re more for dogs. But, I’ve found out that a Maine Coon is very much like a dog so it works beautifully for him.I’ve also found, in using it for guarding behavior, that he’s much less likely to pull himself out of the harness because as soon as he tries, I can let more length out and he’s not pulling it taut anymore.

This is the ultimate retractable leash. I have tried so many and the amount of times they tangle, get jammed, or break is so frustrating, I wanted a reliable retractable leash so I could still safely keep my dog on leash while letting him enjoy playing in the snow or water. This leash feels high end and luxe, the handle is very ergonomic and the locking mechanism works like a charm, the leash itself slides sooo smoothly in and out of the holster, and is a sturdy seatbelt like strap and not the thin flimsy dangerous cords that can so easily get knotted or trip you up, I feel like this is the last retractable leash I’ll ever need to buy because it’s so reliable, and I can’t wait to use it camping and on hikes in the summer to really see its full potential. Currently it lets my husky climb snow hills and play without me having to climb them with him, and that’s a huge win.

The first thing I noticed about the flexi leash was its weight. It is slightly heavier than other ones I’ve used. This is likely due to the retracting mechanism being stronger or bigger inside the plastic. The tension of the retracting leash is also stronger than other ones I’ve used in the past. This is useful because it provides more resistance for the training I am doing and will retract faster.The higher leash tension is useful because I use it to teach a dog to pull forward on the leash. This leash is also suitable for the average dog owner looking for a new flexi leash for walks. Despite its slightly heavier weight, it is still comfortable and well-balanced for longer walks.This flexi leash is very smooth when it retracts and the locking mechanism is easy to use without having to reach too far or fumble around.The colour of this retractable leash is not bright white. It is more like a cream off white colour. The tape of the leash itself is black. While I think all white would look nice, the black leash tape is very practical because it hides dirt. The tape on all other leashes I’ve used has always gotten dirty over time. It’s inevitable.My dog is a large sized shepherd, weighing 52lb.

Over the years, I have owned a few different retractable leashes and the quality can differ greatly. This TUG Quest Retractable Leash is one of the best-quality leashes I have ever owned. My previous leashes were retractables with cords whereas this is my first nylon tape retractable leash.The handle is comfortable to hold and the stop/lock button for controlling the leash retraction is easy to use. The lock is slightly different than any other retractable leashes I’ve had but it’s easy to use and it became second-nature within 10 minutes of using it. The leash extends 16 feet (4.9 metres) and the retracting mechanism works smoothly.I ordered the cream colour and I’m quite happy with my choice. The Medium size is good for dogs up to 55 lbs (25 kg) but, as with any retractable leash, you should never let your dog run at full-speed to the end of the leash’s full length or it will probably break either the tape or the retracting mechanism.
